Last Christmas when were top of the league it was still possible to back us for a top 4 place at evens. I think that the bookies are still underrating us; but I am not complaining. It looks like value bets to me! Of course never stake more than you can afford to lose, football is unpredictable.

I'm breaking the number one rule in the supporter's guidebook. I just find that my betting on Leicester (backing or betting against) is much more successful than when I bet on other teams though, because obviously I follow us more closely. I just knew from our form going into the game on top of the Mourinho factor would result in a Utd win. I went to the game so for me I saw it as a win-win. Or at least insurance if we lost. It transpires that I lost the bet as well as Leicester losing so yeah, life isn't worth living anymore.

Guest Col city fan Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Can't believe we are odds up to win on Saturday. Just hope it won't be one of those daft opening day fixtures where Hull go on to win 4-3 or summat!

Russell sprout Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 My mate who I go with always backs against us,always, even in play if we're 2-0 he put money on,on way to old Trafford,he out £100 on spurs to win the league, crazy, the thing is he's not really a gambling man, mire just a habit, but it's cost him big, another mate always backs us 2-1,stemmed from the championship winning season
stretch1965 Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 I've just lumped on, odds bit better than evens. Hull have a depleted squad with lots of on/off field problems can't see us losing here. Might look at the win and vardy to score at any time plus he'll take the peno when their poor defence hack him down in the first 10.
foxes21 Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Jus a thought, could everyone, sky in particular, be writing us off on purpose to sway viewers minds to go to the bookies/skybet and bet on other teams instead of us? So incase we do well (realistically we can), the bookies make a tonne of money instead of losing all that money when they had us as 5000/1?
GaelicFox Posted 12 August 2016 Author Posted 12 August 2016 This price is just more mental by the day I have gone back in again I can't help myself
