Master Fox Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 If you didn't live through the Craig Levine and Holloway era then you'll never understand. I always have to add "28 years" to my response when someone asks me who I support.

whetstonefox Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Peter Taylor , I hate that man! Only Pleat comes close. as much as I try, I can't hate Holloway, he clearly cared, tried his best , even if his best was worse than anything any other Foxes manager has ever done.

Guest Bilo Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 I watched Josh Low try to control a football on the part of the pitch where Wes Morgan lifted the PL trophy. No glory hunting here.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 A young Preston lad asked me in Marseille. Told him Leicester and he came out with some sarcastic remark. I was like, mate I was there when King scored at your place to secure the playoff spot. I was at Stoke, Cardiff and Watford and everything else before and since. He just shuck my hand after

I'm 53 started supporting age 6 in 1969, my lad who's 22 started going down in 2000 aged 6 , luckily he's not had to suffer too many years of shite ,before witnessing what let's face it we never thought we'd ever see! Well yeah, me neither. But hey, they run out of gob quick enough about 2 sentences after I get talking about things that actually happened in my lifetime and their eyes gloss over at the mention of, for instance, the absolute hero that is Mark De Vries.
john ridley Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Struggling to get tickets now , but the darkest days for me was my first full season, under Mclintock, bloody hell if we'd had FT then ,there again it'd have been fun.
cityfanlee23 Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 I've had this so much, especially living near Cambridge everyone assumes I must be a glory hunter, I sometimes wish it was the case, maybe I'd have been able to avoid some of the absolute garbage I've seen in a Leicester shirt
foxfanazer Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Yeah living in Norfolk I get this a fair bit. I just reel off names like Momo Sylla and Darren Kenton and they believe me
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 I go back to the Jock Wallace days, being beaten by West Ham at home in my first ever live game set me up for the roller coaster ride of being a Leicester supporter, the new fans who have shown little interest in City before but have been swept along with the wave are fine it's the new supporters (living in Leicester)who quite obviously supported other clubs before last season who really bug me, and they'll disappear as quickly as they came if we're not top 4, going back to their other team Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea etc etc.

I'll throw Bryan Hamilton in as well, though he did bring Steve Walsh to the club.
