I've been in all 5 prisons in Leicestershire - Ashwell (not one anymore), Stocken, Gartree, Welford Road and Glen Parva YOP

Just call me "Mad Frankie" Pleatout.

Ok, so it was to visit the prison medical centres coz I work for the NHS.

The nightclubs that were Krystals and the Palais. Christ knows what they're called now

You've not lived if you haven't got on the Cherry VKs in Liquid while some meathead in a glittery rolling stones logo tee and jeans with slogans on them dances aggressively at everyone or hit Life with a plunging v neck and rosary beads.

AND NOW ONE'S CLOSED AND THE OTHER HAS CHANGED SO I GUESS YOULL NEVER LIVE LIFE

Mary Di Castro church, I've been meaning to go in for years but have just never got around to it.

Not made it in but did make it as far as the graveyard before passing out there after Kasabian on Vicky park.

I'm now reflecting on a life unfulfilled.

Wasn't it closed for safety reasons? I seem to recall that the spire was in a bad state of disrepair.

I'm disappointed to admit that I never entered The Lamplighters while it was still open.

I did have an amusing moment walking past a few months ago, with a mate who was visiting Leicester.

I was just pointing it out to him as a place with a reputation as the roughest pub in the city centre, when 2 bouncers emerged holding some bloke MattP by both arms and threw him bodily out onto the pavement. :D

The pub or the shopping centre?

That pub is fairly decent but haven't been in a while.

I can't believe you've been to Leicester and never been in the Highcross/Shire.

Closest I've went was 1573 restaurant and King Richard pub nearby, though I wouldn't classify it being as part of the shopping centre.

Quite a few have said The Curve is decent for different shows so may have a visit one time.

Can't remember being in De Montfort Hall but apparently can be over-priced for what they offer.

Had never been to De Mont until a few years ago.

Went into The Guildhall and Cathedral to have a look at KRIII exhibits and tomb but never before that.
