yorkie1999 Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 Once its been pointed out, you can't half notice they're fake. Kind of draws your attention.
Doggy Posted 6 September 2016 Author Posted 6 September 2016 Obvious now it's been pointed out that there's no Puma logo, but how many on the forum would have been caught out, what I bought and what I thought I bought is not the same, I for one never knew that there was an official LCFC shirt and also an official Puma LCFC shirt , it wasn't the money, I'd have paid £45 the same as at the fanstore, but the convenience of them being right in front of me especially after the hard slog of getting the home shirt in May, neither did I buy knowingly that they were not Puma shirts, and certainly not with the expectancy of LCFC to replace , I merely asked the club few questions as I'm sure we all would have ,
Buzzell Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 I thought it was funny the fact you thought the club would exchange them

Besides, you've got plenty of dosh to spend for a trip to Thailand, but not enough for a proper pair of football shirts? Hmm... It may have been a work trip.

Jace Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 These shirts are official as these are the King Power Thai edition Leicester shirts, they are not sold in the UK. Just because its an official shirt doesn't mean its a Puma manufactured shirt in foreign Countries this is quite common as they have a much higher amount of fakes compared to the UK so clubs manufacture their own versions which are the same without the Sports manufacturer branding for much cheaper. For £18 each you've got a bargain here I'd sell them on if you don't want them

I did not read it all. Tight ****er should have bought them from the club shop.

Jace Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 I had a similar issue when I went to China they sold me what they said was an official iPhone for £20, get home take it out of the box only to find a Nokia. I was furious went straight into the O2 store where I live who I have been with for 25 years and asked them to swap it for an iPhone and they refused. Loyal customer and that very poor service will be taking my business elsewhere
Rob1742 Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 Think the original poster here is getting a bit of a hard time. I can understand his frustration. I would expect if I purchased from King Power in Thailand, you would expect it to be the actual official shirt that is assosiated by King Power and LCFC. I am thinking, they are selling without the Puma badge, so there would not be a royalty to pay, so they will be making a bigger profit, or in this case sell it cheaper. Weird one, I can understand them not giving you a refund here, but "if" our owners did authorise the selling of these items and instigated it, then the original poster has every reason to feel a bit miffed with his purchase. Be interesting to know the exact link of our club to the selling of the item, if atall.
mozartfox Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 I saw the same shirts in BKK Airport and the 'imported' from UK versions of the home shirt are clearly marked and sold inside a plastic protective bag. The quality of the cheaper alternatives are fine.
sylofox Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 More to the point my lad has been in the club shop tonight to ge me a white shirt. Yes I can have it but no prem patches. Now in a normal season I may have said ok. But ffs this season ours in gold saying champions who would want a shirt without them. How piss poor is that tons of shirts but no prem patches ffs.

Did I complain it was not the club shirt no. Official merchandize don't have to be identical just endorsed by the club. Not the clubs fault he did not look at the stock on display. Also if I sell endorsed stock he has to return it to me not the club. As some have said he had the money to pay for the trip. He has two shirt for less than one here why is he moaning.
sylofox Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 Ok I have argued against the op as many have. But having taken minutes away for a smoke (not wacky back). We should all be asking why he payed £18 for a shirt that we pay £50 for cos it has a puma badge on. £32 for a manufactures badge. Chap you should be happy us twats are getting ripped off wear your shirts with pride. You did not get ripped off. Ps I am going to msg the club and ask why. Parps fox leisure should come back. What are puma raping us for. Leicester jobs for Leicester people. And more money for our club. We would then get a bespoke kit.
blue army 1988 Posted 6 September 2016 Posted 6 September 2016 If they both were a large I would have bought both shirts off you. Who cares if they haven't got the puma badge on. Just tell them you got it from the airport and that's what they do out there. And that's even if people notice.

Based on the economy's in both countries they are priced roughly the same
