Guest Posted 6 October 2016 Posted 6 October 2016 I don't do it myself, and wouldn't condone anyone else doing it. But officially labeling it a 'hate crime'? Seems slightly disrespectful to the victims of real, erm, hate and crime.
foxy boxing Posted 6 October 2016 Posted 6 October 2016 i don't do it ,it just seems juvenile but it really should't be a crime if women don't like it they can ignore it

We are all juvenile. People against wolf-whistles, are Usually the ones that cant get a good one themselves between lips n fingers. Hang on a minute!!!!....should I re-phrase that.. Or purse their lips and blow...naa thats wrong I know ..blow air into your cheeks inserting your fingers, tongue vibrating.....oopppps cant be right. Jesus English can be embarrasing sometimes..Blow it I am just Whistling in the wind...!! I aint even going near mentioning the wolf...
Finnegan Posted 6 October 2016 Posted 6 October 2016 A hate crime Grief. Clearly calling a model a fat pig isn't "just banter" though, that's disappointing for her to say.
Dr The Singh Posted 8 October 2016 Posted 8 October 2016 I have never had a problem men or women wolf whistling me!!
cambridgefox Posted 8 October 2016 Posted 8 October 2016 My Mrs gets wolf whistled on the way to work and she takes it as a compliment( they must be a long way away) my daughter 16( you know that PC age) went mad" you should report them, how dare they"My Mrs said it makes her day. me saying it was a p1ss take wasn't the right response!
Carl the Llama Posted 8 October 2016 Posted 8 October 2016 Not a hate crime since it's pretty much expressing the opposite of hate. Classing it sexual assault would make sense though I imagine. After all the intention is to demonstrate one's opinion that the lady in question is certainly the sort one would enjoy taking on a sojourn behind the nearest dumpster and as it's a behaviour that the target can't optionally avoid it's therefore classifiable as a form of assault, surely?
VLC86 Posted 9 October 2016 Posted 9 October 2016 How can it be a hate crime? Used to love walking down a road with my mate, whistling at a woman then ducking behind a wall so he looked like a complete dick lol. Come to think of it I wonder why I now have no friends.
ajthefox Posted 9 October 2016 Posted 9 October 2016 Calling it hate crime is just stupid but it is a form of harassment generally carried out by bellends.
