Simpson finally gets a MOTM, it's been a long time coming.

 

Can't really argue too much with the rest of the ratings either, although I think Riyad's is a bit harsh and Ulloa changed the game in our favour when he came on- both could be closer to a 7.

Simpson was also excellent against Southampton. He thrives in our system. He wouldn't do well in Arsenal or Tottenham due to the system they play.

 

Also, Schmeichel is having a great season. His consistency is outstanding.

Kasper didn't actually have a lot to do. Both keepers were quiet.

 

Shinji and Simmo deserve their ratings. As does Madley.

Honestly didn't think i'd ever see any referee worse that the one vs Porto but here we are.

how did simpson not win it in the champions league the other week he was about 5 times better than everyone else in the whole competition let alone just our game

Great for Simpson getting MOTM. His consistency in defensive solidity is superb and as @Koke says, he's in a system which works for both us and him. Schmeichel has also been great this season, again consistent for us.

Mahrez deserved better. Aside from that, I agree with the ratings. Everyone should have received at least 7, IMO.

As clumsy as schlupp was (and he always looks that way) I thought he deserved better than a couple of decimal point above a five.  I must have been looking at another match.

Weird that Kasper is rated second-best. Would thought Drinkwater, King, Okazaki and maybe Fuchs would all have been higher. Still, Zieler or Hamer should probably replace him at some point.
