Remembrance arrangements??

Sure I read something, somewhere, saying that there is no helicopter this year - unless Top is going to arrive in his Dad's helicopter to deliver the ball to Birch.

Hopefully the helicopter will still do its thing. Bit of a spectacle.

I do too, has this remembrance fixture ever been a TV game before with the helicopter landing?

Says on the Merc that the club don't usually announce the helicopter before hand so it is unknown at this point. Without meaning to sound disrespectful, Riley handing the ball over isn't quite as appealing.

Always puts a lump in my throat,

this will be 3 seasons in a row where we've played West Brom as a remembrance fixture won't it,

twice at our place and once at there's???

The Mercury tweeted something yesterday saying the helicopter would not delivering the ball,  there was also something on Twitter saying it was veoted by Sky.

I hope this isn't true. The helicopter really adds to the sense of occasion. I'm sure we've been a televised game for this fixture previously. We really do go the extra mile to show respect for the Remembrance fixture, I'll be disappointed if we've been forced to do something different.

Watford at home last year.

Sky should not do such a thing. Commercialism would be confirmed as being on top of traditionalism in this day and age if this happens.

A great way of being different but using it for a memorable period. I doubt the Sky cameras will be on the centre circle minutes before the game when the helicopter usually comes down.

This is on the website posted today

Traditionally the match ball is delivered by helicopter to the ground - but the club do not normally confirm if this is going to happen in advance.

I thought the helicopter was not announced in advance because it is very weather dependant, and therefore may not happen!

The pitch will have some sort of pattern on i believe tomorrow.

Anyone know if we're doing a Tifo display of any kind?

I've seen on social media fan groups that the Helicopter won't be coming tomorrow as Sky have had some sort of say on it and deemed it unsafe. Something to do with Watford players being on the pitch at the time of landing last year too??

What the **** has it got to do with sky? They shouldn't even get a say on it. There is a full stadium tifo planned.

Not sure if it's 100% like I said just seen it on the fan groups on Facebook, also seen someone mention it on Twitter but no doubt they've got it from FB.

I really love our club for the support we give to the RBL and the Poppy Appeal makes you proud to be a fox.

I still can't believe our little club started what has now become an English footballing tradition!

If I remember rightly the Watford players was given plenty of warnings but refused to leave the pitch so was force into the corner with their away fans by the stewards

Spot on, they would bot leave despite the stewards and PA telling them on a number of occasions to **** off

Yep and that's why it's possibly been banned... I really hope it isn't.

I don't believe Sky would have stopped it. I'm no Sky fan at all but their coverage of remembrance by other clubs is there to be seen.
