ramboacdc Posted 2 January 2017 Author Posted 2 January 2017 looking like my queen bet is going to be a developer over the year!
Alf Bentley Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 A sad little bit of news - Shane MacGowan's Mum was killed in a car crash yesterday, aged 87: http://www.irishtimes.com/news/ireland/irish-news/shane-macgowan-s-mother-therese-87-killed-in-crash-1.2922960 I feel quite sad for him. He's obviously an emotionally turbulent chap with a strong sense of family and I can imagine this hitting him hard. Shane is unjustly discussed more in relation to his teeth and his booze/drugs intake, when he should be recognised as one of the greatest poetic songwriters of the late 20th century.

It's a bit of an unimaginative list: all people aged 97 or 102, plus the odd younger person known to have terminal cancer! Looks like they're trying too hard to get a good score in 2017.
