He's an attacking midfielder trying to play a more defensive game, constantly holding himself back. Considering the likes of Gerrard and Lampard found this extremely difficult when asked to do it for England, just shows you how hard it is. He hasn't the speed or stamina but Claudio has put him in that position and given him a remit.
