He took us down but I felt like he wasn't given a good enough chance when he was here. Now would be the best time to bring him in and show us his managerial expertise.

What does everyone think?

Only if he plays Wes in midfield

You are clearly a Derby fan or a fan of a fellow relegation threatened team.

Ian Holloway is a buffoon who uses wackiness and idiosyncrasies to cover up his lousy managerial abilities.  Just ask any QPR fan right now.

Great shout. OK historically he was the first manager that took us to the third tier of English football and the opposite of Claudio but like the OP, he has all the credentials to take us to Champions League glory.

Most of the league one title winning side were Holloways players so he's pretty much responsible for our entire history

Holloway signed Oakley and Howard. Oakley was our captain and Howard was hugely instrumental in getting us up, so therefore it wasn't Pearson who actually achieved promotion. It was Holloway.

It's weird, I was thinking the same. Plus, Holloway has the banter appeal, and would make you laugh even if results weren't going our way. Look at what he's done to that QPR side, won three of the last four. Get him in

He got us out of the Championship at the first attempt which is more than Pearson ever did.

I'd be delighted to take him back with that proven record.
