Transfer Deadline Day Jan 2017

Wague's gonna take Simpsons place from him. He's quicker than Danny and can play the ball at his feet. I've seen the video.

Realistically, we need three new signings. Wague is probably going to be brought in as a RB but we still need a CB and we also need a creative player, who can take set pieces and can play as an emergency striker if needs be.

In an ideal world two of those names would be Sigurdsson and Keane but I've learnt to expect nothing on Deadline Day from us. Every year they build our hopes up and we end up with bugger all...

Jon Rudkin is no negotiator!

If you had to choose would you take 3 points or 3 signings tonight?

Three points.  Who knows when the next win is coming.

3 points. We are one win away from looking a hell of a lot more comfortable, as long as teams around us don't win as well.

But just to be clear, you've never seen him play football, right?

Would you sign a player who played 21 games last season and just 6 this season?

You know this signing screams panic but you're afraid to admit it, gotta keep positive and all that.

Not really Kingfox, no.

This signing screams cover. Panic is your department.

I'm positive yes - but even if we signed a £20 million CB I doubt he's going to played as first choice instead of Morgan this season.....

So to answer your question - yeah, if I thought he was good enough. (We've been watching him for a while not just since 3 days ago.)

Thanks for the update though on 'what I'm afraid of.'

What I am afraid of however, is 'prejudging a player I've never seen play, then having to eat my words and look like a dick on FT' (I'm not sure if that has any resonance, just thought I'd put my fears out there as there's speculation.)

Palace are in for everybody..... lol

REJECTED! Crystal Palace have £10m bid rejected for Anderlecht defender Kara Mbodji

Crystal Palace have had a £10million bid for Anderlecht defender Kara Mbodji rejected. The 27-year-old has been attracting plenty of interest this January, with Leicester City another one of the clubs chasing him. The Foxes, however, have failed with their approach for Mbodji after a bid of £7m was rejected by Anderlecht. Palace were hoping they could trump Leicester's move for the centre-back by offering £10m but that, according to Het Laatste Nieuws, has been snubbed too.

How does Messi sound - apparently Claudio's phone number is the only barrier?

SCHLUPP STALLED JENKINSON DEAL

Carl Jenkinson's move from Arsenal to Crystal Palace stalled when he discovered Jeffrey Schlupp's wages, Sky sources understand.

A deal for Jenkinson to move to Selhurst Park permanently looked close to completion when Palace agreed a fee with the Gunners, but Sam Allardyce revealed negotiations with the player's agent were holding up the deal.

It is understood talks with Jenkinson were held up when the defender found out Palace were paying another January signing, Schlupp, £56,000 a week, with Jenkinson having been offered £35,000 a week to move to the club.

Claudio is testing my patience here. I am trying to not crack but that was the equivalent of a "yo mama joke", IN YOUR MOTHER'S FUNERAL!!!!... The joke is not only lame, it also came in a inappropriate time.
