And here I was thinking we needed to strengthen the squad. I do share concern's that even if we do sign a CB , would CR have the balls to drop Morgan? Does this mean we are keeping him because we are impressed with his loan spell or that we just don't want to sell to Burnley as they may be perceived as a rival?

It means there is no recall clause in the loan deal with Ipswich I expect.

Leicester have been keen to sell the 23-year-old former Manchester United winger this month after telling him he had no future at the club. But they now appear to have made a complete about-turn and are saying he can't go, which led to them rebuffing an approach from Burnley. So, barring another dramatic turn of events, Lawrence, who has impressed on loan at Ipswich Town this season, looks like he'll remain a Leicester player for now.

Previous years has seen the big screen with the accumulative amount spent spiralling upwards as the big deals went through. This year it's been about the big loan signing of Wague and a few bobbins from the Championship.
