We get the Messi joke at least once a day on here.

Am I supposed to hold the people here to the standards of the team's coach. This is a fan's forum. People here are being fans. He is the front face for our club and he should be serious in a time like this. Fans come here to have fun and clear their minds and share a love for the club without getting paid ( a lot of people here are actually contributing financially to the team).

So as it stands.... Schlupp, Barnes, James, Hernandez and most probably Ulloa out.... Ndidi in.

And here I was thinking we needed to strengthen the squad.

I do share concern's that even if we do sign a CB , would CR have the balls to drop Morgan? I'm preparing for an underwhelming Deadline Day (it's the Leicester way)

So Tom Laurence who had previously been told he had no future at the club will not be sold to Burnley who have come in for him.....

Does this mean we are keeping him because we are impressed with his loan spell or that we just don't want to sell to Burnley as they may be perceived as a rival?

It means there is no recall clause in the loan deal with Ipswich I expect.

Thats a possibility I guess, yeah. I didn't get that from what I read but that may well explain it.

James Duckerhas all the detail on news from Burnley:

Strange goings on with Tom Lawrence and Leicester. Leicester have been keen to sell the 23-year-old former Manchester United winger this month after telling him he had no future at the club.

But they now appear to have made a complete about-turn and are saying he can't go, which led to them rebuffing an approach from Burnley.

So, barring another dramatic turn of events, Lawrence, who has impressed on loan at Ipswich Town this season, looks like he'll remain a Leicester player for now.

Funny watching the SSN presenters having fvck all to feed off given the lack of much happening. Previous years has seen the big screen with the accumulative amount spent spiralling upwards as the big deals went through. This year it's been about the big loan signing of Wague and a few bobbins from the Championship.

Where r all these signings we were after,1 loanee who must be having the longest medical in history.the club is a joke at the moment e.g 1 player who wants to leave,a manager who is not there to sanction signings.WE HAVE MONEY SPEND IT.

Sell ulloa.

Use that money + the £12mill from schlupp for Sakho. Use the leftover from the £30mill kitty (- ndidi fee) for jenkinson.

Pretty much all we flipping need. How hard can it be.

Two utterly shite left backs.

Spending for spending's sake isn't what I want us to do.

The key word is improve.....I can't imagine either of those 2 are an improvement for any PL team
