I thought worse case scenario, we'll play shite and get beaten at Burnley and won't make any significant signings. Turns out I was being wildly optimistic. Most of the teams at the bottom strengthened and they all picked up points.

He may have been deemed as too much trouble. If someone like Klopp who is evidently a players manager sees that this idiot let him down and was trouble, then why would we go for him? He apparently was on French TV the other day apologising for his behaviour but thats about 6 months too late.
