Guest MattP Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Just hide your booze or Pyro in your scarf. Never ever met a copper or steward who had searched a scarf around someone's neck.

adejo92 Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Can't see the harm in being searched if you have nothing to hide. I have already seen 2 lorries full of police horses from Thames Valley. All out operation for this match. I expect all the people Anti Police would never call them in an emergency

I think the police where possible do a good job but the blanket treatment of football fans isn't fair, treating ordinary law abiding football fans like criminals will likely lead to more trouble.

GaelicFox Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Load got off at Harborough on Train apparently around 3pm then got a bus to Leicester now that's tactical planning

volpeazzurro Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 So after all that over reaction, how many people on here actually got mistreated by police last night? On the other hand were there large scale disturbances and if not, did that extra police presence deter such events possibly?

adejo92 Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 Bandwagon hatrid for the police makes me laugh. Probably the same people who spout #blacklivesmatter and think the police are murderers for killing someone in possession of a weapon.

You mean the extremely racist police force that consistently murders (predominately) black men?

Right on queue.. Yeah, they're the ones. The same ones who actually have a life outside of the police and a family to go home to. Have a milli second to decide if to pull the trigger but when they do get branded a murderer. But hey, I don't live America so won't defend them any more than that. I guess every body has their own opinion and own reasoning behind liking / disliking the police.
FerrisBueller Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 I appreciate that, but how many cases have we seen of the cops shooting unarmed guys, presuming they are armed because of their race? Or even terrible cases of police brutality? I'd say it's pretty widely accepted that America has a race issue within it's justice system.

Probably the same people who spout #blacklivesmatter and think the police are murderers for killing someone in possession of a weapon. A lot of stereotyping going on, I think police are corrupt and lying arrogant pricks, and no I am not part of any anarchist group, I just happened to attend a football match, and was assaulted by the police for not walking quick enough. My own fault you would think, but as I am disabled from chemotherapy, and I had had my intestines, and bowels removed, to get to the cancer behind them, I think I could be excused by the police, but clearly not. I explained my health issues, and it didn't make a difference, the officer continued and even pushed me in the stomach. Him and his friends lied and said I was part of a large group, and I offered to fight him, clearly something you do, not long after having your insides removed. The police were filming, and he had a body camera on, but when I complained there was no camera evidence, barring 3 seconds. He got away with it, as even though in his lies that I was in a large group, my only witness was my 12 year old son, who was thrown to the floor, and my 15 year old daughter, who was punched. So yes I hate the police, I don't trust the police, and I have my reasons, so let's understand the different reasons why people do, the police are bent, but some have not experienced it yet.
