That Chelsea game was such a landmark, I took a pic of the paper the next day, I didn't dream it would last.

We are talking about the most technically gifted player to ever play for us, a player that had a big hand in winning Leicester City the Premier League title.

 

If you can't understand the feelings some have a for a player of this calibre and achievement then I'm afraid you are a perfect example of the modern fickle football fan.

 

I think its best for him to leave, he's had his time here, but I sure as **** aren't one of these simpletons who will be taking the season just gone as my overriding memory of Riad Mahrez.

I think he's a quality player and there's no doubting he's technically gifted but he has, and I'm not just talking about this season, been very inconsistent. Now maybe you would expect that from a luxury player who can do nothing for 85 mins, and then win it with a second of magic, he's done it in the past. But his decision making and work ethic will stop him being a world class player that so many of you are touting him to be.

He means "elastico" if that helps. But this is more than that: it's an "elastico nutmeg" and I have never seen such a crazy one before or after that.

I remember seeing Christiano Ronaldo doing an "elastico nutmeg" but it was not near as filthy as that of Mahrez vs Stoke.

His goal Vs Chelsea was sublime. But for more than just our move, the fact he turned arguably the full back in the PL inside out and sent him on his holidays....Mahrez in a better team will be world class. Taking my blue tinted glasses off and being unselfish I want him to go on and flourish, I believe he is world class, and I want him to prove it. He really is that damn good.

Well, as a fan, you really need to get your ass off your armchair and get down to the KP to see us more. If you can't, there's usually highlights on BBC on a Saturday, goals on Sunday on Sky or countless streams on YouTube to catch up on.

 

Because I can't seriously accept a so called avid fan of Leicester City questioning whether Riyad ****ing Mahrez passes the ball to his team mates despite tearing up the assist table last year and guess what contributing to it this year. So much so that you've seen it once?!?

 

Seriously, back to the days of Stephen Hughes giving away a 5 yard pass to Gareth Williams, hey. They were the good old days!

Oh man, it was you who slept through the whole 15/16 season. Tough break. Leicester won the actual League that year, and Mahrez was as consistent a performer as English football has ever seen. Such a shame you missed it-I reckon there must be some videos for you to catch up on though...
