NotTheMarketLeader Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 Chalobah, Deeney, etc Is this ****ing back to the future, flux capacitor and all? We are not just promoted from the Championship. If these possibilities are true (and I accept they may not be due to the massive amount of bullshit that is flying about) please Mr Vichai and Mr Top, lets start behaving like the PL winners we are. Just because he plays for Chelsea last few seasons everyone says he's fantastic yet he seems to go wandering in games and doesn't really have much creativity about him nor is he a great tackler Yeah but did you see that goal he scored against us though?
volpeazzurro Posted 3 July 2017 Posted 3 July 2017 A decent young player but surely not good enough for our ambitions now? In Barnes we've got an up and coming youngster learning his trade for that role. If we were to agree that if all fit, Drinkwater and Ndidi are first choice, if we're only playing two in midfield then we need a fully ready ample substitute. This may be James but it certainly isn't Chalobah.
Adster Posted 3 July 2017 Posted 3 July 2017 No thanks. He's massively over rated just because he "plays" for Chelsea.
Stevosevic Posted 13 July 2017 Posted 13 July 2017 He's very average. Would have been disappointed to sign him
RoyFox Posted 13 July 2017 Posted 13 July 2017 Not what we needed, we have enough CM's who are more defensively minded than creative.

There was clearly something wrong under Claudio, and Shakey reaped the benefit of new manager bounce. Shakespeare did a pretty awesome job of turning around a side in utter disarray, bound for relegation, into a team that believed in itself again. We have a lot to thank him for. Without him, imo, we'd be planning on going to Barnsley in September and Millwall on Boxing Day.
