That's really great!......i'm amazed that all these WDC players bother to go anywhere.....they don't get paid unless they win something and then it probably would just about cover the travelling costs......With the PDC making millions they really should support this kind of darts........but Uncle Barry will say "we have the JDC,Devolment, womens tour etc.But some people can't give up their day job to be in Wigan on a Thursday(Jonny Clayton being a case)I think the BDO really made a mess of it all...well the Jacklyns(look at those two!)

I guess it's for the love of the game for most, there must have been about 100 people at lakeside last night watching.  Assume the crowds with pick up as it hits the latter stages.

I only really started properly following the darts in the past 18 months so (watching Euro tours and players championships as well as the majors) so I don't know too much of the history.

With the popularity gaining in the young crowd and acadmy's popping up everywhere, I wouldn't be shocked to see the PDC expand further over the next 5-10 years.

I don't really think it's on them to support other organizations though, they offer a pathway for any players to join their own tours/seasons.

Most players obviously have their shirts plastered in sponsors, which I assume helps covers their travel and expenses. A lot will play be able to play in exhibitions owing to the fact they have a platform to become well known, which will generate them further cash from the game.

Obviously this is coming from someone fairly fresh to the game, so can't comment too much on how things used to be before the BDO tanked. Have just been reading about the 2019 world masters...what a farce lol

Mitch Lawrie with another impressive performance, he's got potential to be insanely good when he can take this up full time and get on the tour.

Posted a 97 avg tonight, first set was over 115. He only turned 15 last month as well.

Find a woman who is as obsessed with you as filbertway is with Mitch Lawrie

Honestly, even I'll say it, I need my hard drive checking fan girling over a 15 year old.

James Beeton has one of the oddest throws I've ever seen.

Highlight yesterday was definitely when a game got paused because two blokes were having an argument at the bar and it was all you could hear lol

Great performance by Van Schie in the final after going 3-0 down to the boy Mitch. Enjoyable week of darts to be fair. Now 3 more sleeps till the big one!

Just six more rounds to go!

I fancied him purely on his performance at the nordic masters haha.

If he can keep rattling in 95+ averages he can definitely keep progressing

Glad to see Heta putting in a performance on the big stage, they've been massively lacking this year

Van den Bergh demolished earlier and now Bunting, who cruised through the first two sets, on the brink of defeat.

Bit gutted for Bialecki, he completely folded in that deciding leg

The wasp drama confuses me every year. Firstly its annoying how they describe it as one wasp, surely time to get pest control in.

Secondly, wtf are wasps even hanging around in December for?

I had never heard of it until this year. Is it always a thing?

I saw that there was one milling about during the Kumar match yesterday.
