Every questionnaire I’m filling out regarding the match I’m selecting atmosphere to comment on the need for safe standing.. I don’t know why I bother half the time but surely it’ll make a difference if many more do it..

I’ve given up with those questionnaires now.

Was pleasantly surprised to have one after the Spurs game. Then seen one after the Villa game with the exact same questions.. it’s just a tick box exercise.

Isn't that what a questionnaire is?

I've done it after every match. It asks where you sit every week, every week my area is not an option to select (P2).

Every week I have told them this in my response, still the area has not been included.

Think that tells you all you need to know about them actually reading replies.

The reason the club is doing the survey after every game is that they are looking for trends.

Then if changes are made in response to the feedback, they can monitor if the survey indicates a positive impact of the change

The results of the surveys will be fed into the Fan Engagement Framework, for instance a 90 Minutes session could be called to discuss a particular topic highlighted in the survey results.

The results will also be fed into the FCC Working Groups that focus on certain areas and more strategically into the Fans Advisory Board

The club have missed a massive trick this season. I guarantee you, safe standing would’ve got us an extra 6-10 points minimum, just from the boost to the atmosphere.

The club are too stupid to realise the atmosphere at the KP had a massive influence on our recent success. The years leading up to promotion to the prem, the great escape and then winning the prem.

Our home support was shocking last season and we only got promoted due to having a far better squad than anyone else in the division. For whatever reason, it massively declined the season just before lockdown, even though that season we were on course for getting into the champions league.

L1 (all standing block at the KP) used to be rocking in the championship days. New chants being invented on a weekly basis, every player had their own chant etc etc.

I appreciate union fs are trying their best but I’m sorry, it pales in insignificance to the good ole days and the club aren’t helping by consistently cock blocking any initiative to boost the atmosphere.

This is what happens when you don’t employ fans in the corporate side. All they care about is the $$$

The club should be using a third party for those surveys. A team that could ask the right questions, analyse the data correctly, score it accordingly and create a plan based on the overriding club strategy for supporter engagement.

Do we know if they are or if it’s just down to Anthony and his unskilled team of many?

You know those ‘your 90 minute sessions’ are pretty much a waste of time now. Really struggle to think of anything thats be changed off the back of one.

They push Jim out and he just says he will pass feedback on.

FAB looks dead in the water, club keep missing their own deadlines.

Have they missed more deadlines?

Im pretty sure there was meant to be a September meeting.

Yep just checked on the plan. Should’ve been one on w/c 16 September.

@Foxes_Trust did this FAB meeting happen?

If so how did that go?

If not why not? and what did the club do when you challenged them on missing another deadline on this?

Thats every deadline missed so far isn’t it?

Is the FAB fit for purpose? (for those not interested in snuggling up to the club)

FAB - the interview phase for the 3 positions available (from general applications from ST holders/members) is close to completion.

So we would expect that the club will announce who the 6 FAB fan representatives are soon, with the date of the first meeting to follow swiftly afterwards (so meeting in October)

We always felt the timescales to complete the application/interview process was optimistic

So this fan engagement plan which you were told was a priority and needed to be rushed through to hit certain deadlines continues to be behind all deadlines the club has set and that you agreed to? Not one single one hit. That’s embarrassing isn’t it or are you pleased with the progress / lies ?

So I assume as before when I raised this and was shot down you haven’t challenged the club at all for fear of upsetting those at the club that continue to take the pi55 out of you (as recognised and raised in your last trust meeting).

The trust and the club continue to fail with this priority project. The recruitment process is flawed, it’s just more jobs for the boys / cuddly crew. Are you delighted to be involved with such a mess of a project?

Just coming back to the trusts short term objectives, “To hold Leicester City Football Club and its owners to account for the highest standards of business management, and operational and commercial decisions that directly affect Foxes Trust members and the wider supporter base”

Are you doing this for your members with this Fan Engagement/ FAB project? If so could you explain how as the contradictions in this and what’s happening are confusing.

”would expect” - don’t know and have yet again failed to make the club accountable.

”swiftly” - what does that even mean? Assuming as the trust has no desire to upset Anthony that you mean “whenever the club likes…as always”?

You always felt the timescales were optimistic? Yet you absolutely agreed to them, shot me down for daring to raise the failures, failed to challenge the club on it or go above your contacts head to Whelan, and still let the club give you meaningless, empty promises.

The trust under the current regime is a joke. If the rumours are true about certain folk stepping down once they are on the FAB then that’s a good thing for the Trust but also absolutely abusing the position in the trust for self gain so you can snuggle up even more to Anthony. Those rumours may not be true but the rest stands and you, the FAB, the trust are not fit for purpose.

It’s an ego trip to be in the know. Power hungry. Embarrassing.

For those not aware, this is the perspective of someone that had recently joined one of the Trust’s Working Groups.

The Working Groups were what we were asked to join when pushing for change at board level. At the time, we felt there was limited ability to impact the effectiveness of the Trust by doing so due to the Working Groups reporting up into the existing board where no change was planned.

Those who know Ryan (and heard his appearance on the BSLB podcast) will know  that he has a wealth of experience in fan engagement within the game and his involvement with the Trust should have been a really positive thing. His experience with the Working Groups, as detailed in his post, are illuminating.

I know Pierpoint gets a bad press on here but I've just started reading his book and I think it would benefit all LCFC fans if those currently running the fan related sides had a good read of it.

Sure the guy was there to generate £s for the club but he always looked to have the best interest of the fans in mind.

I'm sure he would have been in front of the queue to get standing areas fitted.
