In essence, you want him to be selfish with the ball. He's very good with it, like Mahrez, when he wants to be.

The key is to make the right decisions, which he did very well second half.

Yeah but Mahrez doesn't attempt improbable goals when he can pass it. I don't mind if he was selfish when trying to cut inside (like he did on his goal yesterday) but I do mind when he tries to shoot outside the danger area instead of building up play.

Yeah... which Gray hardly did second half. He was spraying it out, playing it short, bursting in to the box and had one attempt from the edge of the box which needed a good save to tip over.

Yes, but my point is that wasn't a sitter. But the dude is clinical, one miss doesn't make him not clinical, misses happen.

I'm not trying to question his ability - I think he still has a valuable part to play here at Leicester. But you have to appreciate that in the Premiership he isn't afforded anywhere near as much space as he was yesterday. I am delighted that he got two goals, as it will boost his confidence massively, but if he missed that chance against United away on Saturday, you'd have a pretty tough time defending him, as it would cost us.

Leicester was winning 4-1, failing or not it would mean absolutely nothing. If it was a do or die situation, I don't think he would miss that one, but we can't know for sure of course. He proved last year he can score on the PL with the right service so i don't know why are you questioning his finishing ability, that is one of his best qualities.

Oh ffs. Everything back to Mahrez.

Mhrez keeps hold of the ball when he should pass and shoots when he should pass, just like Gray does and just like every forward does.

To be fair, it was only a passing mention of him because he and Gray have similar qualities and roles in our attack.

Don't think players should be given 9's when against mediocre opposition. It's more impressive to match up against good players than to dominate a second string Championship side.

We can only judge on the given opposition.

Watching that back, it is hard to see why Hamer got slagged. Unless people are just looking for things to find fault with of course.

When I was at the game I thought he was at fault. After watching the game back I thought it was unlucky.

Still shouldn't get beaten at near post, mind.

Should he really be catering for a speculative cross/shot from that player? I really don't think so.

Yes and what I'm saying is that the opposition should be taken into account. Giving 8's and 9's out suggests that that will be one of our best performances of the season. That doesn't seem accurate to me.

Oh, I understand now.

Maybe they should be categorised then? ie 38 prem games in one section, fa cup and league cup games in another.

Sheffield united are normally expected to beat weakened premier opposition  as their previous results show  so it is really opatronising to class them as weak

They weren't at full strength though.

When Clough guided them to the final they took it serious.
