How to Check Seat Availability

I've seen a lot of people complaining that they can't view the availability of seats for games unless it's their turn to buy tickets, so I thought I'd post this work-around to help out. Mods, let me know if this should be elsewhere or isn't acceptable...

 

This will work for all browsers, but I use Chrome.

 

Go to the ticket section and right-click the greyed-out button, then click 'Inspect'.

 

 

Find the onclick event in the HTML and double click the URL that begins with 'en-GB'.

 

 

Copy and paste the URL to the end of https://tickets.lcfc.com/ like so

https://tickets.lcfc.com/en-GB/events/leicester city v liverpool (carabao cup)/2017-9-19_19.45/king power stadium?hallmap

and you're done.

 

 

Use the seat selection as you normally would, but obviously be aware it won't let you add tickets to your basket. 

 

Hope this helps people buying tickets in the future.

@Daz93 This has been a god send! Needed WBA tickets this morning on 22 points, managed to see if the seat next to my ST was available and nab it bang on 9am. This means I don't have to go to the stadium for tickets and use up nearly 2hrs of my day!

When you right click the greyed out button for tickets ie Everton, click Inspect, a side bar will open up and a block of writing will appear like this -

you want to double click and copy the highlighted writing in bold

Then paste into https://tickets.lcfc.com/ this will give the full web address as: https://tickets.lcfc.com/en-GB/events/leicester city v everton/2017-10-29_16.00/king power stadium?hallmap

It allows you to see how many have been sold and identify where you would like to sit before going to the stadium or buying online.

I believe we're still just in inside the STH buying period and if you're a STH I think only your specific seat is reserved for you so there's no need for the seat availability option to be working at the moment.

 

Should change when they go on sale to members.

Yes it works for aways. Definitely in Chrome.

I have found it difficult at times. After https://tickets.lcfc.com/ make sure you copy the next bit exactly. I sometimes have mistakenly included the speech mark (“) either at the beginning or the end.

Took me a while to figure out as there is now just a ticket information button and a sign in button on each game’s sale’s page, if it’s before your day to buy.

If you right click on the sign in button, then click inspect at the bottom and you are in to the page that you can copy and paste to get the stadium map.
