The best time for Maris Piper spuds is September until about November.

There's better food in England than Italy.

Ade Akinbiyi was a good player with a decent goal scoring record.

Wtf was I smoking when I posted this

Also what a pair of opinions to have rubbing shoulders

I had just moved back to the UK from Italy which I think explains the first one.

Not sure what possessed me to write the second one though, maybe I'd just watched Ahmed Musa play up front.

Done in an air fryer, 20 mins at 180 then 40 mins at 200. Even better.

Pizzas are often shit in Italy

They can often be shit if you go to the wrong place.

If you specifically want pizza you need to avoid the old town centre restaurants that don't specialize in them. If you find a dedicated pizzeria in some out of town new-build next to a housing estate tourists don't usually go to, run by southerners (or in the South itself), with disposable tablecloths and football posters on the wall, where they keep the beer glasses in the fridge and the side dishes are basically just chips or croquettes, you will get the best pizza of your life. There is no food I would less willingly give up than real southern Italian pizza.

I’ll take your word for it

LOL thinking that Leicester will win a game of football, on an online Leicester forum, is an unpopular opinion?

Exactly. We're after unpopular opinions not insane ones.

Absolute insanity has taken over this thread. If you all don't stop then Mark will move it to its own section and then it will vanish into the ether.

Probably the most ill-disciplined topic about potatoes on the internet.

Who is will

@Wymsey is an actual Will, if I recall correctly.

And, to be fair, he has a better chance of beating Arsenal than the current glorious leader of our beloved football club.

So, gerrimin, is what I say. Go Wymsey.   :scarf:

To paraphrase:

Whoever looks back at the "good old days" (subjective from person to person) and doesn't miss them has no heart.

Whoever really wants them back has no brain.

In terms of preventing and treating death and suffering, our species is doing better proportionally than it ever has done.

Yeh man. Also aside from the health aspects we've never had it this good ever. We have global opportunities to work and earn, you can work remotely from anywhere, you can launch and scale a venture with very little upfront capital, free tech solutions exist that can do tonnes of grunt work for us to help that scale and minimise on time and cost. Our options are almost unlimited.

Listening to the 'only three days until Friday!!' and 'this country is finished mate ticket office shambles I'm moving mate honestly' crowd is now no longer annoying, it's pathetic and sad.

Pretty much.

There are several bumps in the road (digital media as a whole, increasing global average temperature, our brains not catching up with advances in tech etc), though.
