Yeh true. East Asian mega cities are really really fun but again unimaginable to live in with all the practicalities that go with life, imo

In terms of blue collar street crime, based on my own experience they do compare favourably. 

 

It's just the white collar crime you have to worry about over there.

Probably true.   Few years ago,  I knew about 4-5 posties.  All of them bar one have left with last one in the process of brushing up his CV now.

The whole city is basically a construction site, brooding high rise popping up everywhere, there are almost no open or green spaces or parks etc. around the city centre, very few sights to see, the weather is always shite and the place is just really grubby.

I can really appreciate that the lack of green spaces and parks etc will affect long term mental health.

I had a negative experience but much of this was based on my circumstances at the time. I had a job that I was unqualified for and I sucked at (and was let go from), I'd just been dumped, I didn't know anyone there and lived alone, I started drinking heavily. I just was in a really bad way. I have a negative association with the city, which probably does cloud my judgement somewhat, but I also do just find it depressing.

Frederiksberg Kommune, down the road from me in Copenhagen has an urban planning policy that you must be able to see at least one tree from your apartment or house, which is in itself the most Danish thing I could imagine.

Agreed. The story had been endlessly told and now supposed supporters are attempting to defend and justify this awful position by saying, ludicrously, that we'd have taken it because of that season.

I've not been to a game for a couple of years but decided to go to the Northampton game with a friend who's a Cobblers fan. I couldn't believe they're still showing the Premier League win show reel! Considering where we are now it felt a bit cringe tbh...

I know a lot of people don't agree but I quite liked the compilation they show before the game. (Disclaimer: I also take flasks of coffee and M&S wraps to games). Seems a bit tragic now but would probably be too awkward to just stop showing it. At least the goal music has been ****ed off.

On 2015/16, it is more to do with the fact that around 4 players (usually Albrighton, Morgan, Huth and Fuchs) are on endless podcasts being asked the same questions - "How did you win it?" , "When did you know?" , "How did it feel?" - then the same answers; "Nige laid the foundations, Claudio didn't change much, Shakey was the influence, Vards, N'Golo etc".
