Giff Gaff, any good?

I'm led to believe they run off O2? I've heard O2 are good?

I'm with Three who I've thought have been great but all of a sudden (Past 6 months, hardly 'all of a sudden') they've become shite, No Service and when i'm apparently on 3G or even 4G well I may aswell be on No Service, they're taking the piss.

Moved to Giffgaff from Three as they were truly shocking, never had any signal. Been with Giffgaff for 2 years and never had any problems and always good signal, plus they're cheap. I'd recommend.

Been on giffgaff for years, no complaints.  In terms of network coverage, there are obviously some signal blackspots and there are times when I have no signal and my missus does on EE but the opposite is also true and unless you live in a remote area you won't notice the difference.

I'm also on gift gaff, moved from three a little over a year ago and no complaints so far. Good coverage, cheap, if you run out of data or whatever instead of waiting for the end of the month you can just start the next month early. If you don't get on with it just switch back at the end of the month.

going to Giff Gaff when my Vodaphone contract expires. Vodaphone are a shit company. Their coverage is so patchy for a comms company of their size and they're so expensive. GiffGaff are my daughter's SP and she gets a really good service. I was hesitant to move sooner because of the links with BT (who I detest) via O2, but it seems GG is run a separate entity.

EE are decent now they have sorted themselves out since various mergers and buyouts, coverage is excellent as well.

Vodafone are fine never had any signal issues and just upgraded for an iPhone 7 18gb data and Spotify premium for 24 months for £33 a month.

Do you have to buy a 'goodybag' every month or can you just do a monthly rolling Direct Debit like a normal contract?

You can set them up to recur mate and just change at any time, I moved to them after my contract with o2 ran down a couple of years ago, absolutely no complaints from me during that time

I was with Giffgaff for 3 or so years up till recently, great service and no contract, would thoroughly recommend. I just switched to Three sim-only contract purely because I can use my data allowance abroad at no extra cost and Giffgaff don't offer that - had no signal problems as yet
