Geoffrey Boycott absolutely hates Moeen doesn't he.

Tom Curran bunts one in the air just past mid off and he's shouting "shot". Moeen cuts one off the outer half of the bat along the ground and he is sighing.

Moeen has been dreadful this tour and probably needed dropping after the2nd test and then bringing back in.

The lad has loads of class so it’s a temporary blip.

should have had a specialist spinner from day one an put him below Bairstor from the start.

Think those decisions have had a input in his tour, he is a confidence player and the Aussies said he would get targeted from short stuff and attack his bowling, before we came here.

Having said that I’m a huge fan of his and thought he batted the best he has up to midnight ,when I was watching.

Malan has looked good and was gutted he didn’t get his ton.

Like most he's annoyed he's still playing, after that innings in Melbourne where he just gave up and decided "**** it" he should have been dropped for a long time.

He should be happy mind, he's had a four year test career before people found out if you just pelt him with short balls he'll either get out hooking or to the spinner immediately after trying to score. He won't see another over of length bowling after this tour.

Watching him and Crane bowl today was painful stuff, no threat at all, Australia are going to rattle up another huge score.

To be fair to Mason he did spin it though, certainly should have played in Perth and Melbourne.

Shame they will score so many he won't get to bowl in the 4th innings.

Is there actually a weakness to Smiths batting that doesn't rely on English overhead swing or a raging turner in an Indian dustbowl? I can't see one.

In Australia? None.

He's nigh-on impossible to get out.

Can't find one now, his style is incredible. The Aussie team in ten years could all be batsmen batting on off stump with head over the ball.

Is it 11pm UK time start tonight?

11.30. New ball in 17 overs.

If we don't take 2-3 wickets with it I fear we'll be batting at least 150 behind.

This is just crazy, for anyone not watching the first hour.....

Despite Crane being the spinner who troubled Khawaja we bowled Ali to him, he threw him 4 pies in 2 overs and still got a 3rd, going to his hundred while we had fielders back on 99 not out.

Now we have Broad bowling in the 76th over, four overs before the new ball.

The thinking and tactics has been worse than the squad selection.

It's hopeless isn't it? Just going through the motions, no plans, no clue, no ideas.

Root is a shocking captain as well, got so much to learn.

The worst thing about this tour is we have won four out of five at the toss lol

I don't think he would have affected the results whatsoever but having Stokes in the field would have been a massive boost for this team. We just seem so quiet, on days like these the Aussie batters can tick over with no pressure verbally or with the ball.

A massive shame as they are so average for the most part.

Fair play to all that stayed up and watched all of that ??

I see a few saying its another lifeless track doing nothing? I have a funny feeling Australia will get plenty out of it tommorow tea time.

I fell asleep after lunch thankfully, it is lifeless but it was on day one and two and we got bowled out.

Thank fvck this humiliation is nearly over. Been beaten in every single department including the use of common sense and actual brain cells.

Not an excuse but i nearly melt in this country whenever the temp creeps over 20 degrees so christ knows what it must be like to have all your gear on when its touching 40!

Are we likely to stand any chance at all in the 1 dayers?
