oxford blue Posted 25 November 2017 Posted 25 November 2017 Fellaini says his boots have affected his performance and wants £2m: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/nov/24/marouane-fellaini-suing-new-balance-boots-manchester-united Sad thing is it does not surprise me a footballer wants more than most of us will ever earn over a lifetime because his feet hurt. Did his pretyy average performances really drop off when he was wearing New Balance boots?
Countryfox Posted 25 November 2017 Posted 25 November 2017 To use that well worn phrase ... The worlds gone mad. Perhaps all those kids in Africa that have to walk 10 miles to get some infected water could have a whip round for him .... Stupid cvnt.
katieakita Posted 25 November 2017 Posted 25 November 2017 Thought a more realistic claim would have been against his hairdresser
KingsX Posted 25 November 2017 Posted 25 November 2017 Good shout for Sports Illustrated's weekly Sign Of The Apocalypse.

peach0000 Posted 25 November 2017 Posted 25 November 2017 So he had a deal with new balance to wear there boots, they failed to provide boots that fitted properly and of good quality so he stopped wearing there boots and they cancel his contract. I personally think he has a right to sue. Surely new balance has a responsibility to provide adequate equipment.

Jon the Hat Posted 27 November 2017 Posted 27 November 2017 Great to see so many FTers are up on contract law! You guys are awesome!
boots60 Posted 29 November 2017 Posted 29 November 2017 Over the years I must have worn in 10-12 pairs of DMs. If anyone has ever done this I am sure you will agree I must cop for £20 million.
