We know King and Ndidi just doesn't work in midfield. Ndidi and Iborra works well when Iborra plays well. Where will Adrien Silva fit into this? Would Iborra move to the top of the D in a sweeper kind of role? Hopefully the arrival of Silva can finally mean King is consigned to part time in under 23 games.

Struggling to see where Silva fits in, we don't need another misfit to join the Musa, Slimani and Natcho mould of misfits.

Couldn’t agree with @Tuna more. We’re trying to rotate with player who don’t allow us to play the way we want to.

Today N’Didi was everywhere but it seemed like we had no central midfield at all. I’m not trying to slate anyone at all but it looked very disjointed, maybe that’s to be expected with the reshuffle.

the disrespect in this statement should warrant a ban imo.

Silva gives us the option to rotate the 2 centre mids.

Gives us the option to play as a three in a 4-1-4-1 when required against the better sides away or trying yo close a game out.

People need to get a grip with this King thing. Being nice and loyal doesn't make you good. The sooner people actually take this on board the better because, seriously now, he is not premier league standard in the slightest and I don't think he would start for any other club in the prem. Nowhere near.

Midfield needs looking at, even with Silva coming in because A. King is shit. B. James is a sick note and needs offloading.

What happens If Silva is shit after all this wait?

I have heard he is and the management don't think he will cope with the demands.

Just kidding.

it's not ignorance lol. Yeah he's not been the best but he's also not the only reason whenever we lose games, which some people love to believe!

Some people think it's King with a rating of 4 or below and everyone else gets an 7 or above. Even you would know that's not true.

Plus, even when we win he still gets criticised which is ignorance in itself as well.

Performances like today demonstrate how overrated Ndidi is, yes he's great at tackling but he treats the ball like a grenade.

also, who else would you played instead of King?

Iborra looked dead on his feet against Utd so probably wasn't fit for today.

Given that James also played no part today there's no other option.

Perfectly fine until one of the three in midfield gets injured. Then it's back to lord saviour Andy I'm loyal I'm kind but I can't play football for absolute shit King or Matty just having a 6 year lie down on the physio table James, as back up. Whoop.

Nah he's right, time to give Gray a full time role, otherwise what's the fecking point in ever buying youth.

Exactly, king comes in and does a job, nothing fancy but he's just there, James has shown already how slow he is so wouldn't be anywhere near the pace of today's game.

The defenders have more of an issue than the midfield did today

Does a job in doing **** all? Did anybody see him do anything at all today? I didn't realise he was playing until he was substituted off. I've had enough of this sentimental bollocks, Andy King is our worst player by far, praise the Lord when Silva is available, James is fit and King is "5th" choice playing 2nd fiddle to Choudhury in the under 23s down Holmes Park.

Maybe towards the end of the season in games than don't mean as much, but you can't leave out Albrightons defence work against the top teams, a lot of times he saves us from being totally over ran
