People get over excited because of his young age and tackling stats. I don't really notice him much in games, he never dominates midfield like Kante or Lennon did.

 

I'm not criticising him but that £65m valuation of him in the world's top rated young players is a joke.

If you honestly think James would do a better job than king I think you need to remember watch the first few games of this season and how empty our midfield was. King breaks up attacks, doesn't really create much but he lays it outwards to mahrez whose job it is to create

Absolutely awful at passing, either pings it across field aimlessly or takes one or two touches and loses it. Good ball winner but that's as far as it goes, let's hope he learns how to pass soon

The latter 2 came on as subs. What did they do? Fvck all.

HAHAHAHAHA remember Arsenal away when James went off and we ****ed it up? Remember Brighton at home, our most comfortable victory when James dominated and controlled the midfield? He's our best midfielder when fit. King lovers are embarrassing, you're accepting mediocrity.

We generally played well until James got injured.

kingy is drinkwater-lite with a lot less aggresivnes!

i don't realy rate kingy highly but, why do people go on and on and on about things that everyone knows he can't do? he was never a great tackler nor was he a great playmaker.


it's just a reason to have a dig at him, i know he is limited and i can accept that, i'm not expecting him to get the game by the scarf.

He was probably  treating it like a hot potato because he was basically playing in midfield by him self and was outnumbered

He's just a scapegoat for everything and the king hates about pull the ends of their cock off when he's playing cus they love to hate him, I see everyone has forgot about Southampton away and he was a boss and then place at home where iborra was shite, but everything is kings fault.

Our most comfortable victory this season was actually when Andy King started and scored at Southampton.

I know you hate James, but not sure how you got that from his post. He's saying James is better than King.

IMO, and this is just an opinion, James is on par with Ndidi and Iborra. 

No one knows what Silva is like yet so a comparison would be silly.

missed that, sorry. Yeah I wouldn't go as far as that. Mahrez and Albrighton are midfielders as well.

And that’s our problem. One half decent game in 10 matches and a goal that even simpson would have tapped in and he gets lauded for being instrumental in us being a fantastic side whereas the reality is he’s never set the game alight since he did his ankle in. He doesn’t offer anything consistently going forward, he’s crap as a defensive midfielder and he doesn’t create anything as a centre mid fielder.

Hardly boss , he played ok and scored a tap in thats all . King hasn’t  bossed  a game since we played in league one and there lies the problem

Sentiment now needs to go out of the window.  You can't play king in a midfield 2, he just does not impact the game enough defensively or in attack.  Not at the level needed to be a premier league player I'm afraid.

 

Great person to have a round the club, just not anywhere near the starting 11 please.
