When I first moved to London I just had a period of about 18 months just having various levels of relationships with various nationalities, just 'cause. It wasn't a conscious thing. 

 

Maybe because I was paying so much rent I couldn't go on holiday anywhere, so I brought the holiday vibe home.

Yeah, but given that you know why Matt started it, and that it was obviously causing offence (as was the intent) then you should have pulled it.

Matt's thread has 7 pages on replies so it's obviously created some interest. 3 threads making the same point is unnecessary, if they were 3 threads making different points I would left them up. I could  have just deleted 2 of the threads and not said anything nobody would have even noticed, I tried to give him the choice but I won't bother in future.

 

Lots of threads/posts cause offence on here and by and large I try to leave them up as it's not my job to censor people's opinions.I like Matt on here as a poster, as a mod I don't favour anyone and I don't appreciate the suggestion that I do.

You're an intelligent bloke, Webbo, so don't try and bullshit that you're not aware what Matt was doing. He barely bothers to disguise his distaste of gays and transsexuals, and his thread was clearly intended to provoke a response. The fact that it created some 'interest'  says more about how reasonable most posters are than it does about your judgement.

That's the best thing about London, such a large cross section of birds people, I'm exotic to some people at uni in Sheffield and Leicester's 70 miles away haha. It's remarkable how much more attractive Colombians are compared to the rest of the northern South American countries. I spent 4 weeks in Ecuador and the only attractive woman we saw happened to be a TV presenter

Given the amount of posts it received and the amount of time you personally wasted in the thread, regurgitating the same nonsense, I would say it was a very decent general chat topic. but @Buce, oz started 3-4 threads in the span of a couple of minutes as a temper tantrum because of the transgender thread (even thought there were no homophobic/transphobic posts nor were there any offensive responses, at least less than comparing muslim women in a hijab to garbage bags).

 

it made 3 camps, the yes, the maybe and the no all with different point of view, it is/was a good thread/discussion

Anyway, in answer to the question, yes I would but I’ve got to be honest, I don’t see many Muslim ladies with white non Muslim men in the UK, I’m guessing that in some cases it doesn’t meet a families approval.
