Car parking on Match Day

Can anyone recommend somewhere to park within a 25 mins walk to the stadium. I've been parking at Richard III Car Park near St Nicolas Circle for a long time but it has now closed permanently.

For a modern ground, car parking is poor.

I just park at the Highcross and walk up along the river. By parking that bit further away from the ground, you avoid the worst of the congestion.

A warning to all those who park on bede islands ( freeman’s wharf) 

this area is now a public road/s .

Parking tickets are being issued by traffic wardens.

Residant permits now issued. 100s been issued this week alone.. parking on paths etc now over ...!

parking in freeman common for years but need somewhere else for after match drive back to Loughborough.........took about 45 mins to get out of freemans......suggestions anyone?

I’ve given up on Freeman’s Common, last time I parked in one the easier spots to get away and it took forever.

 

Tend to park miles away and walk it. Dover St for £2 on Friday night (Sundays are cheap as well) was ok. The place on the hardcore/waste ground on King Richards Rd, £3 all day is now my choice for Saturday kick offs.

Shakespeare Street. About 15-20 mins walk. Its just off Saffron Lane. Been parking there for a few years now and its decent.
