Staying in Earls Court area for a couple of nights for gigs later this month.

Any good boozers around there or nearby? Looks like prime Greene King territory

Not quite Earls Court but about 10 mins on the District Line from Earls Court is Putney Bridge station - The Eight Bells practically over the road from the tube is class. Just over Putney Bridge itself there's The Bricklayers Arms too which is really really good

Both brilliant spots, we spend all day in the Eight Bells on a Sunday from midday when we only wanted a couple and lunch, selection of beer is unreal for a proper old style boozer

Will definitely check them both out, cheers Alan.

I did the Bricklayers a couple of weeks ago- it's very good. Also walked past the Eight Bells which looked good. Both pubs had Augustiner on tap and plenty of cask options.

Going the Highcross on Saturday to see if the refurb and spoons beer festival is any good.

Not planning on heading down the game afterwards, can't face it which is gutting really.

Went to the spoons in Victoria tonight and had a few festival ales. Was nice

Tried the new pub in Seagrave last night- it was nice. Has the same feel as the White Hart and Castle. They had 3 cask on- Blue Fox, Pedigree and a guest (Full Circle Brewery). Blue Fox was in immaculate condition. Nothing interesting on keg though.
