We leak goals like a sieve. Maguire has simply been the best of a rubbish bunch. He’s been turned inside out too many times to be ‘brilliant’, has been beaten in the air too many times to be ‘brilliant’ and hasn’t marshaled our defence in a ‘brilliant’ way.

He’s a good player, but isn’t brilliant. And he does need a younger and far quicker CB to play alongside him to compensate for his lack of pace.

I completely agree though. The others have been much much worse.
