Spain played just like Puel wants us to play. Sideways, sideways, backwards, sideaways, slightly forward, backwards, sideways repeat very slowly.

 

A terrible game and awful advert for international football. Shame both sides couldn't have gone out, the tournament would have been better for it.

This proves that Spain sacking their manager just 2 days before the start of their World Cup campaign was a ridiculous decision and shows that the Spanish FA know sweet FA about football.

 Doing the right thing can sometimes be painful but  I'd never criticise anyone for being principled.

He moved his arm back upwards when he realised the ball was going over him, not a natural hand movement.
