Russia wouldn’t be so low had they been able to play competitive matches, however they have done well to reach the QF I expected them to get out the group but not get past this round

Spain got what they deserved. They were rubbish. They've tried to cling onto playing a game that they aren't very effective at doing anymore. To create so little against Russia is embarrassing.

 

I still don't rate Russia but fair play to them for never caving in.

 

As for England. This is quite simply the best chance of winning the World Cup I and anyone under the age of 50 is likely to witness. There is a very, very long way to go, but it really can happen. The seven teams on the right side of the draw have two finals between them, and one of them is there.
