Everton fan here 

 

So sad and sorry for everyone connected with your football club. Regardless of any rivalry, no one deserves to go through what you as a club and as supporters are going through. 

 

I sincerely hope some or any positive news comes out of this. 

 

Good luck and for anyone that tonight has tragically died, RIP

Huddersfield fan here. I don’t know what to say, other than I’m sure the whole football community is thinking of Leicester City right now, and are desperately hoping and praying for the best possible outcome to this awful, awful situation.

Leo Bruka, 27, who lives near the stadium, told The Telegraph he was driving home from work when he saw the helicopter falling.

"I saw the helicopter coming down, it was spinning very quickly.

"In front of me was a police car. Before it fell the police car went straight away towards where it was falling and I followed them.

"We were less than five seconds away. When we went there there was a man who I think was working inside the property of King Power stadium who opened the back gate.

"The helicopter didn't fall in the [fans'] car park. It fell inside the territory of the stadium. The car park is very close. It might be a car park for the staff because it's in the stadium.

"One of the policeman ran straight away to the helicopter and another got out a fire extinguisher. The first policeman was tying to break the glass of the helicopter, the window, then in this moment I saw a women in tears crying out loud because I think the helicopter just missed her, she was about 20 metres away.

"The fire just started and then there was an explosion.The policemen tried to calm down the fire. The police response was very quick. This all happened in less than one minute, then I could hear all the police coming around the stadium. They hadn't left yet after the match.

"A policeman asked me to stop filming because someone was in the helicopter."

So so sorry guys. 

 

Its times like this when football fans become a single family and the badge on your chest becomes irrelevant. 

 

Earlier today I was in a foul mood because Paul Lambert (Norwich legend) became Ipswich Town manager..... how petty and insignificant that feels now. 

 

I'll be a Leicester fan for the rest of this season, just like most of the country was when you shocked the world a few years ago.

Bristol City fan in peace.

 

The images from tonight are utterly horrific. My thoughts are with everyone affected. No club should have to go through something like this. Vichai seems to have run the club with a great deal of respect for the club’s fans and history and it is hard not to admire the job he has done. My thoughts are with the Leicester fans and especially the family and friends of everyone involved in the crash. I really hope against hope the news is better than the pictures appear.

The more I hear about Vichai, the more obvious it is that he is an absolutely lovely man. I hope with all of my heart that he is alright.

I am a Brighton fan but always keep an eye on Leicester since being at Demontfort years back. I just wanted to say, thoughts are with you all from us in Brighton. Its terrible news and we just hope that this isnt as bad as it looks. We are thinking of you at this sad time x
