I'm lost for words we might support different clubs up and down the country and across the globe but when terrible things like this happen football comes together as one big family..

 

I really do hope for good news prayers and thoughts go out to all.

The thoughts of everyone at Rovers are with Leicester City and those affected by events at the King Power Stadium this evening.

We would also like to send our best wishes to Glenn Hoddle, and condolences to the friends and family of the Brighton fan who sadly passed away today.

A Leicester City spokesman said: “We are assisting Leicestershire Police and the emergency services in dealing with a major incident at King Power Stadium. The Club will issue a more detailed statement once further information has been established.”

A Tottenham fan, but born and raised here in Leicester. Spurs are my team - but this is my city, my home. 

 

The owner has contributed so much to the city and community, not least the unbelievable donations made to our hospitals. He is clearly a rare and outstanding man.

 

This is dreadful news and we all pray for a miracle. But all in the city and county will stand shoulder to shoulder regardless of football loyalties. It’s what we do.

 

Thoughts and prayers to all those involved, and to our emergency services working so selflessly.

I don't usually get sad or upset when famous people or celebrities pass but I'm heartbroken by this. There's tears in my eyes.

 

This guy literally made our dreams come true. More than that, he has contributed so much to a city to whom he owed nothing.

Theres a video on Reddit allegedly from tonight, of Vichai plus 2 females and 2 males walking towards the helicopter. This was posted on redcafe..

 

their resident LCFC fan suggested it couldn’t be from tonight as there are screens behind the goals. These screens have been up for months now.

Football team owners often get bad press (sometimes rightly), but with Vichai and his family we have a diamond. Supported the team through thick and thin, supported the local community and always did their best for LCFC, ending up delivering the greatest season ever. Whatever the outcome of this tragic accident... thank you.

Terrible evening.  Praying the above isn’t true and hoping for absolute miracles.

 

Terrible news if true but members of our services should keep their lips buttoned following such incidents for obvious reasons. Very unprofessional and if true they should be disciplined.
