I think this role is 100% nailed on for a BAME candidate, pretty sure Les Ferdinand has already got it by all accounts.

And also very unlikely IMO. Whether we like him or not he was respected and valued by Vichai as well as very trusted. I doubt that is going to change in the aftermath; Aiyawatt, Apichet, Rudkin, Susan Whelan and Andrew Neville need to pull together and be an even stronger team than before.

I think so as well given all the noises coming out of the FA regarding a commitment to more BAME staff.

I think it's a time where we should get behind everyone at the club. Jon has received some harsh criticism, although perhaps warrantied at times it appears he has gradually grown into the role and learned from mistakes.

He after all had support of Vichai and I'm sure Jon has had a role in the quite amazing things that our great chairman did for the club.

I would hope Jon carries on with city and helps Top carry on what Vichai started.

I'd hope not, for England's sake. Our academy hasn't produced well coached or particularly technical players under him. For years we've played industrial football with Rudkin's mate Beaglehole as the Under 23's coach. Ashworth's "DNA" has been effective and it's hard to imagine Rudkin being so effective at overhauling English football's coaching attitudes.

Don't you think that going in to administration, and being relegated to league one and being a struggling championship side for most of the 00's had a massive affect on the talent we could attract? I pretty sure we wouldn't have been first choice for the hottest younger in the midlands.

It take year to development  players from the age of 7,8,9, to become first team players

I actually think we are starting to see the fruit of are academy with Barnes and Chilwell.

You could say that about Southampton but look at their academy.
