I'm already five episodes in. I wonder what people with lives are doing tonight...

I watched 3, It's nice to know there's others of us out there. Maybe we can start a support group.

I can’t believe Jason Steele got a move to the PL after that season with us

He seems like a prized tool. I'm sure you find it less amusing, but the dude at the start talking about hammering Celtic in pre-season to get the good feeling back in the city before losing 5-0 was another highlight.

watched the first ep and boy it was funny.

feel like that 0-5 pre season game completely passed me by in real life, was good to see the fume on the fans after that.

Any of our fans that are moaning about where we are at the minute need to watch this series.

Think that's a bit unfair, just because Sunderland have been piss poor at every level it doesn't mean we should be content with whatever happens just because it's not the absolute worst case scenario

Fair point. I'm bored watching us at the minute. However, sometimes we do need to remind ourselves that it could be much much worse.

I’m 6 episodes in and it’s great, can’t beleive how buzzing they all were for Chris Coleman coming in, mad.

We just couldn’t believe he took the job. Lovely number there at Wales. Guardiola would’ve struggled being successful at our place whilst Ellis Short was here, never mind Chris ****ing Coleman :D This series is just an awful reminder as to how bad last season really was.

Loving the series and it’s pretty much the polar opposite of what happened with us at Leicester. During our title winning season, everything went right. We avoided major injury, our best players were brilliant etc.

At Sunderland, everything went wrong. The injuries to Gibson, Jonny Williams etc. Grabban returning to Bournemouth. All these things and more conspired to relegating Sunderland.

We were mugs to give him a 5 year deal.

Honestly Niall Quinn needs to accept responsibility for Short ! Quinn wanted a pay day for him and his Irish buddies the main Irish lads Lou and Charlie wanted out so Quinn saw a chance to cash in , he was warned by Dermot Desmond that Ellis was a cu*nt and McManus told him to wait for someone without the issue Short had , Quinn ignored all the advice and cashed in .... Quinn didn’t save Sunderland he buried them !

His magic underpants my arse

and yes I know a bit about it all !

Ade In the Seaton Lane Inn can fill in the blanks .... if he still has the place

feel for sunderland a great city and wonderful people , infact the nicest people I have ever met in the UK , so passionate about their club , thier crowd averages over the last 40 years has been amazing , a proper club with proper fans

On the last episode now. It’s  been great. Brings back some awful memories of when we got relegated though. Prem to Championship is bad but Championship

to League 1 is a different level.

Jack Rodwell though ? How he walked into training every day with his head held high is something else.

Great watch this, got one episode left.

As others have said, Jonny Williams seems an amazing bloke. Hopefully he can put the injuries behind him and get the career going he really deserves.

On the contrary, Jack Rodwell is an absolute cockwomble. Had absolutely no remorse for sitting there creaming the club for 70k every week whilst they we're scrapping for their lives needing to get players in.

And Aiden McGeady, might have misheard but I'm sure I've just heard him say, "We were poor at the weekend, we played a 4-3-3 and Ive never played that formation so had no idea how to play without the ball" Eh?! You're about 31 and you've never played in a 4-3-3 formation?! What a shocking excuse.

Would definitely recommend watching, an absolute polar opposite to the recent Man City one.

I appreciate what Vichai did for us as much as the next man, but let's not go overboard. Before he came into the club we'd just finished fifth in the championship and missed out on Wembley via a penalty shoot out.
