Earlier this year, LCFC TV travelled to the United States of America, Sweden and Greece to learn more about the Football Club’s international supporters and how they celebrate matchdays from afar.

When Leicester City are in action, it is an exciting time for every member of the Blue Army, whether they’re making the short journey to King Power Stadium, or watching in a bar on the opposite side of the globe.

From the twilight-lit streets of New York City, sleepy Swedish suburbs of Hallsberg or down below the Acropolis of Athens, we saw – from thousands of miles away – what it takes to be a faraway Fox.

LCFC TV uncovers the matchday experiences of Leicester City fans around the globe in a special feature-length documentary.

Across the special, hour-long documentary, we allow those fans to tell their story in their own words as they explain what it takes to follow the Football Club's fortunes from across great distances.

Available now, The Whole World Smiles With You invites viewers to witness first-hand the joy, the sacrifices and the pride of being an international Leicester City supporter.

Actually really enjoyed that.

 

Makes you think how lucky we are to fall in love with a club we have relatively easy access to. Probably also makes me a bit embarrassed that there's been times when i'd almost rather not go to games, when you see the commitment of these people.

Well that's Jason and Jordan of the new york foxes in that photo and at least 1 of them posts on here for sure. If not both.

We need to get that lad from New York down the City.  

 

Most of the time, we're so busy miserably complaining about something ... we forget to actually enjoy it.   And have fun.   And actually support the team.   Hey, supporting the team, that's a new one ... maybe most of us should try it sometime!

 

Seriously ... the film is actually a very good watch.

 

It's also quite humbling to know that these guys (and girls) are so keen about our club, and follow us every week from 1000's of miles away.   Watching us live must be such a rare treat.   We really do take for granted how close our team is, and think nothing of watching them live every week.

Definitely! A bunch of us have been over a few times but we're hoping to do a little group trip for the first time this season. Brando's a great guy.

Loved the quote "We have more fun losing than other fans have winning" … brilliant, they get it. I felt quite emotional seeing the New York Foxette in tears (and shock!) when we won the Premier League. They shared it with us and it was something that fans of other clubs will most probably never experience.

 

It's great to know that we have fans around the world but will never be a club to attract the numbers like some other clubs.... but that's what makes us.

I loved the bit when he was talking about the 07.30 starts.

 

"You'll get to the bar, pop open a cider, start drinking and have fish n chips or a burger early in the morning.

So your day starts early, and ends early because you're already feeling good by about noon."

 

I've just got this great picture in my head of a bunch of happy lads in City shirts and scalves staggering out of a bar in New York at 12.00, and waltzing off past the Empire State Building and going home!

That image is pretty accurate, haha. But we also have plenty of days that start early and end late
