Got absolutely savaged tonight at football training, at least 20 bites on each leg. Currently bathing in Hydrocortisone.

Would have been preferable to having 20 mozzies biting me through my socks because I could have two footed the Uruguayan goffer but not these.

Played 5 aside on Monday and my legs are a state. Look like I've been paint balling. Smothering them in cream but it's actually quite painful at times to walk. Buying some insect repellent before next week!

Nope, about a mile from the canal though. I’ve put that much steroid cream on that my leg hair has started to fall out which sounds pretty healthy

Ive got bites on one leg and one bite on my arm that has swelled up a fair bit. Reckon whatever it was that bit me has laid its eggs in my arm and now im a walking infestation

Horse fly bites are horrid, one of the worst common bites in this country. If you get one, try and put a red hot spoon on it as soon as possible as this will prevent the bite swelling like it normally does.

Got bitten yesterday by something.  My knee has swolen up to double the size. My knee feels like it's on fire.

Sounds like a Bot fly. It's pretty grim. You'll be lucky to walk again.

I’m not saying the two are related but the sore throat and runny nose is almost certainly malaria from the bites.
