adejo92 Posted 17 August 2019 Posted 17 August 2019 Hi all, Does anyone know what these bites are likely to be from? One is on my shin and the second is on my ankle. Just under the size of a 2p coin but very itchy! Confident it isn't a rattle snake.
Carl the Llama Posted 17 August 2019 Posted 17 August 2019 Moz, fly or spider probably. Wouldn't worry about an insect bite in this country.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 17 August 2019 Posted 17 August 2019 I got a bite down here in Devon last year, my foot swelled so badly I could not walk for 5 days. Very painful and losing the mobility side of things was truly awful.

Good thing was i did go away naturally but was not a pleasant experience. You will be fine, mine actually bruised my entire foot. Get some antiseptic cream on it sausage

Merging Cultures Posted 17 August 2019 Posted 17 August 2019 Looks like just a regular 'midgey' bite.
Merging Cultures Posted 17 August 2019 Posted 17 August 2019 I'll diagnose you now... you don't have malaria or ebola.
Suzie the Fox Posted 17 August 2019 Posted 17 August 2019 Its a mosquitro (sp) i got one last week and damn it itched. Takes about a week to be not annoying
fuchsntf Posted 17 August 2019 Posted 17 August 2019 Try.. " Biteaway" pen or Benadryl liquid...In UK there is also "After bite" liquid... Of go to Boots / or a chemists & ask what they have for bites.......
Suzie the Fox Posted 17 August 2019 Posted 17 August 2019 Or if you happen to grow Aloe Vera plant. Cut a tentacle off that and rub that on it, it really helps the itch and reduces inflammation.
Jattdogg Posted 18 August 2019 Posted 18 August 2019 Im going with tarantula. Seek emergency help now.
