I don't think so unfortunately :( I think you can get most of them pretty cheap now though

 

They have Code Veronica X and the Revelations games though and I think they are worth playing through

 

After having a quick look through:

 

South Park games are pretty fun if you like turned based combat and South Park

 

Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls and Detroit Become Human

 

Mafia 1 - 3

 

Ratchet and Clank (new and old)

PS+ has both the original remake and Intergrade I think? Unless you have to be on the top tier perhaps?

You can get Intergrade which includes the Intermission DLC with PS Extra.  As far as saves go, it's confusing as I still have the PS4 saves on PS5 but the game won't recognise them.  Says something about uploading the PS4 saves first.  Can't do that.  lol  It's OK though I'll just start it fresh again.

The FF9 story does take some time to kick. The one thing i do hate about FF9 is the Trance system. Takes so long to get trance and half the time you don't even want it.

 

After recently playing FF8 ive been tempted to play FF9 again. Then Returnal caught my attention

Was on a main story mission following someone, veered off to find new campfires and machine sites etc., now 1000 steps away lol

I was on my way to The Bulwark in the main quest for AETHER

 

I have ended up on the coast over by DEMETER and accidently set off the starting cut scene of that one lol

The side missions carry a lot more weight in this game compared to the original.  Make sure you do the flooded village section, it's in the north of the map, fairly central.  Also the hot air balloon mission which you can pick up in Vegas.

Yeah already picked all of them up and done them :)

 

I did POSEIDON, then basically explored everywhere in the surrounding area up to around where it changes into Snow and Forest

The game is amazing.  Kind of wish I'd started it after the last major update though since the graphics which were already brilliant then became absolutely outstanding after the update.  Basically gave us a slightly scaled down 4k at 60fps.  Just wish they'd release the dlc soon, hopefully by November if they follow a similar time scale to the original.  Also looking forward to the VR game in the same setting which looks great.  Can't get enough of it, I think the lore building over the two games has been excellent.

This was a quiet introduction end of last week...

 

 

It looks OK but the animations aren't too fluid.  The Callisto Protocol appears to be far more polished than this.  

 

Rumours of another Sony event before the end of the month.  Bigger than the last state of play at least.  Can see this being a God of War special with other projects thrown in.

Probably doesn't help that the big final fights in Forbidden West were quite easy for me going in at Level 50 with really good weapons and armor, they weren't really a struggle at all

 

Overall though still a brilliant game

 

I don't think I have that much left either to get the platinum which is mainly just the hunting grounds

 

I have just noticed I have finished the game and I have missed scanning just 1 machine, a Grazer, the 1st thing in the machine catalogue lol

 

Be interesting to see where they go with any DLC, either they go the very obvious route or save that for the next game

The platinum is quite easy to get. The hunting grounds aren't too difficult once you know the route to take. I think i got platinum around the 65 hour mark. How many hours you put into it? As it sounds like you have done more than me, i do not believe scannong all machines was a requirement for platinum. Though i cant actually remember.

 

In fact i think the grazer i also missed lol

Mine is at about 75 hours currently

 

Yeah there is a trophy for scanning all machine types :)

 

The only other trophies I have left to get are going to top of every tallneck (1 left), complete every cauldron (3 left), hunting grounds (all), scanning that grazer, the melee pits (all), and then the platinum itself

 

Shouldn't take toooo long to clear them all up

You can then start new game plus on ultra hard.  :thumbup:

 

I would drop the difficulty on the melee pits to get them out the way.  The cauldrons are cool.  The tallneck you require will happen as a result of completing one of the cauldrons.
