EE. Just added the monthly payments to my phone contract. Ordered it yesterday, said it could take 14-21 days to arrive but it was delivered today!

Good timing.  I strongly recommend the PS+ Extra service.  Another 12 games added today including Metro Exodus which I will be downloading.  Huge though, over 100gb.

I'm going through FF7 Remake for a 2nd time at the moment having blasted through the PS+ PS4 free version last time around.  The PS Extra version is PS5 Intergrade with the dlc included.  It looks and plays better and graphically it's the prettiest game after HFW imo.  Gameplay is so smooth.  I've had to drop FF9 for the time being though as this has me hooked again.  lol

Finished Forbidden West! Really enjoyed it, not quite as much as the first game, but only by a tiny amount, I think I preferred the final quest in the first game as well

Probably doesn't help that the big final fights in Forbidden West were quite easy for me going in at Level 50 with really good weapons and armor, they weren't really a struggle at all

Overall though still a brilliant game

I don't think I have that much left either to get the platinum which is mainly just the hunting grounds

I have just noticed I have finished the game and I have missed scanning just 1 machine, a Grazer, the 1st thing in the machine catalogue lol

Be interesting to see where they go with any DLC, either they go the very obvious route or save that for the next game

Finally got around to clearing up the rest of the trophies and now have the platinum trophy for Horizon Forbidden West! Took around 82 hours total to do

I would say either the Hunting Grounds or the Melee Pits were the worst ones to do out of them all, some of those challenges were quite annoying

Metro Exodus.  Started off well enough but the open world feel to it is now putting me off continuing with it.  The controls are also way too awkward.  You can tell it suits PC more than console because of this.  I also can't be bothered with random bullet sponge encounters either when attempting to get to an objective on the map.  And the footstep sound is so annoying!  lol

My tv is getting old and not the best for the PS5. Anyone got any good recommendations for a monitor that gets the best out of the PS5? Maybe even for PC gaming in the future?

Want to start getting the best experience for my PS5 with the new games I’m getting.

You can't go wrong with one of these.  I highly recommend.

TUF Gaming VG289Q|Monitors|ASUS United Kingdom

It's nice to see that it's still rated the best monitor almost 2 years later in terms of value for money.  The only monitor better in that list there costs £900...:o

Likely to change significantly that list now they've enabled 1440p support, which is the resolution most of top gaming monitors are.

Rise of the Ronin looks great. Hope Team Ninja make it in the style of Ninja Gaiden. Shame it's '24 though.

Quite enjoying Steel Rising - is much better than the reviews say (in my opinion) and certainly has an Elden Ring type difficulty / vibe to it...

...even if it is set in parallel French revolution timeline full of evil automatons

Is there any way to get games cheaper on PS5 disc-less version than direct from the PS the store? (Had a few troubles with them 😄).

Can you buy the game elsewhere and put in a code for example like cdkeys?

You can buy the psn credit from cdkeys which normally saves a few quid

shopto.net will do a series of increasing amounts of funds for your wallet in the store at ever increasing levels of discount.

For example, PS Extra is £85 for the year but you can get an £85 top up code for your wallet for £77 after the discount.
