Taking down Khan and then Lord Shimura on hard difficulty at the end of Act 3 on Ghost of Tsushima was sublime.  Gaming at its absolute best.  Very satisfying end to a great game.  Looking forward to the Iki dlc and finishing off bits and pieces in the main game.

Anyone played Devil May Cry 5?  Worth it?  It's one of the free offerings on PS Extra next week.

Came in to a bit of money and finally bit the bullet with one of these. Been getting back in to gaming lately, as mentioned elsewhere I'm using my free time to game rather than watch TV or read, so got a disc version with god of war (digital) and an extra pad for 540 quid. Due for delivery tomorrow, have standard ps+ about a month in to a yearly subscription so will upgrade that to the top tier off the bat, what is recommended as the first few games I should download from that service.

Outer Wilds, Ghost of Tsushima, Stray, Returnal, Demon Souls, Spiderman Miles Morlaes…there’s a decent selection on there now.

 

Jedi Fallen Order is a free game this month on standard ps+ and I really enjoyed that.

Days Gone is a must play. If you want to take a step further back then play God of War 3. Uncharted and Far Cry series are also really good

Price of the Dead Space remake is ridiculous.  I'm not paying £65 for a game I've finished twice already.  I'll wait for a price drop.  Assassin's Creed Mirage on the other hand is taking pre orders for £45.

Wanted to play Stray as a nice little palate cleanser between the various enormous main courses in my back catalogue - £24.99 in the store, whereas upgrading my PS+ to Extra until next January was about a quid less. A no-brainer really although mixed feelings as my back catalogue has now immediately grown much larger. At the very least I think I'll be having a crack at Stray, the Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding director's cuts, Guardians of the Galaxy, Deathloop and probably another dip into Returnal.

Ghost of Tsushima takes 45 hours to platinum.  I'm doing the dlc at the moment, almost done, it's taken me another 5 hours.  Probably won't collect every single collectable in the dlc though, time to move onto something else.  50 hours is enough imo.  Great game though.

 

The new PS Extra games are available from Tuesday.

Only ZD and the Frozen Wilds expansion are available on PS Extra.

Just got a PS5 so what do people think are the best games for this at the minute? Got MW2 with my PS5 but found out I’m absolutely awful at that being new playing against the top ranks with the best guns all the time. Not exactly fun

PlayStation store. They emailed me about them a few months back. Took 2 days to get to me.

I see the Forspoken scores are out and it's as expected.  Terrible.  The demo was the most wretched gaming experience I've had on PS5 to date.  It was truly shocking.

Cheers. I currently have some steel series wired ones, think they were about £40 from Argos but wondered whether to buy a higher priced pair and maybe go wireless? I’m unsure whether to stay wired.
