I will be getting this but I cannot keep up with what PS Extra keeps on serving up.  At the moment trying to complete a platinum trophy run on Beyond Gotham and then I've got FFXV lined up.  

 

I might download GoW again and give it another go before getting this one too.  After I completed the story (which left me a little underwhelmed) I didn't pick it up again and moved onto something else without doing all the additional stuff on offer like those Valkyries.  Perhaps the PS5 patch will make it a worthwhile second run.  :thumbup:

The extra stuff is worth doing (as well as getting up to speed again), and for what it's worth IMO from the first few hours the plotting in Ragnarok is a step above the OG GoW.

These are readily available now and I really want one, I could just about stretch to getting one on finance, the issue I have is that I've switched my series s on about 5 times in the last 3 months, not because I don't want to game but I just don't have the time, to drop 600 notes on a console I might get to play 2 or 3 times a month for a few hours at a time just doesn't seem like a good idea.

Game and curry's currently have the GOW bundle for 540 quid, if you check stockinformer.co.uk there's nearly always an outlet with some in stock. For instance the GOW bundle now yeah you're paying 60 quid over the odds but you're getting a generational masterpiece (so they say) for that extra 60 quid and it's the must have game so not much of an extra to pay. I just don't have the time or I'd get it now.

Absolutely loving Ragnarok, managed to put about 6 hours into it today!

 

Looks like it takes about 30 hours to finish with all the side quests which I plan on doing

 

Hopefully get as much of it done as possible whilst still enjoying every bit of it before Pokemon comes out next Friday

I've always lived by the mantra that if you can't afford to buy one outright twice over, then you can't afford one.

 

I usually get about 3/4 hours a week to play mine, sometimes 5/6 if I'm lucky and it's definitely worth it though, but only if you're gonna use it. I've bought a wheel and pedals 6 months ago and still not got round to setting them up, feel like I've wasted £150 or so there.

Just finished God of War Ragnarok, took about 30 hours or so and that involved a decent bit of exploring and being sidetracked!

 

Really enjoyed it, continues the story from the first really well and I thought it ended the Norse saga perfectly

 

Be interesting to see where they go in the next saga... Egyptian maybe?

Still got quite a bit to do with side quests and exploring areas but that can wait...

I think I'm about halfway through.

 

I'll be honest, it would take a lot for me for the ending of this to top the ending of Forbidden West, but so far the plotting and voicework has been absolutely superb. Looking forward to going further!

I see the video posted has been removed.  Shame.  lol  There is a review embargo in place for Callisto.  Whether or not this is a good thing, no idea.  Reviews out Wednesday I believe.

 

I booted up HFW last night just to listen to the intro screen.  I miss the game.  Need the DLC to drop ASAP!

 

Currently playing The Medium.  It's decent enough at night and has a couple of jump scares thrown in.  It's creepy and quite unique in how it plays.  I'd recommend it as it's free through Extra.

Having read some of the very mixed views on Callisto Protocol, it would appear that it's this console generation's Alien Isolation in that regard.  The Gamespot reviewer doesn't like it, it's too hard for him poor fella.

 

Once I've cleared the backlog, I will pick it up at some point.

Yeah gameplay wise it reads like good fun but is riddled with bugs. Definitely going to give it a few months before dabbling myself.
