jammie82uk Posted 18 November 2019 Posted 18 November 2019 Excellent stuff I bet they wished they could build our training ground for around £7-10 million tho
urban.spaceman Posted 18 November 2019 Posted 18 November 2019 Great stuff - yet again, giving back to their community in a way that could improve so many lives. I seem to remember there being talk a few years back of recruiting East Asian players to try and boost our popularity in the region? It was before we signed Shinji, so that may have been part of it. I know there’s a few Thai players at Leuven, though I don’t know if there’s many elite players that would be on our radar...
Clever Fox Posted 19 November 2019 Posted 19 November 2019 We're probably going to set up an Asian Academy to both help the game their. But also to capture the best talent emerging from the region in the future.

Korea are producing some nice crops of talent. Most countries are lucky if they have one player in Europe - China, who have sunk billions across the country in football, currently have one "just decent" striker at Espanyol. Thailand doesn't have anyone to speak of at this moment in time.
FoxesHub Posted 21 November 2019 Posted 21 November 2019 King Power have agreed to fully fund a new national football centre in Thailand. They're sending staff over from Leicester to help with the design processes. Great to see Khun Top continuing to invest in Thai football with another interesting project. dynamark Posted 21 November 2019 Posted 21 November 2019 If I was the conservative candidate for any Leicester city constituency I would print leaflets and stick through every door asking the electorate what they think of billionaires in our country and do they support labours envy and hatred of said billionaires.
