Ric Flair Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 West Ham are muck, we should play Danny Ward up front
kyleolly Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 Get Vardy starting in the next 3 games and then spunk £50m on a new striker on Jan 1st and rest him then

We were made to play 3 times a day, 7 days a week and then had to still train for 8 hours on Christmas day.. Then, we had to go home and live in a hole in the road under a tarpaulin. You were lucky, I was the one digging the holes.

Saying that, how the hell do tennis players do it? Different sport and movement I know but I'm constantly amazed at their incredible level of fitness. It’s much lower intensity and non contact. A 90 minute football match is different level tiring to even a five set tennis match. I can tell you that from experience. It is physical feat to get through a tennis tournament but what they ask footballers to do over Xmas isnt really feasible.
Steve Earle Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 Seems all set for Brendan to send a shadow XI to West Ham doesn’t it? That way the first team can play today, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day, resting v WHam & Wigan. Honestly can see only one other option, namely to rest half the side against the Hammers, the other half against the toon...
Nalis Posted 21 December 2019 Posted 21 December 2019 I suppose West Ham are in the same boat so I wonder how they will play out their games with Palace away and us.
