The thread title is "birds you fancy off the telly" ....  and strange as it may sound, many people prefer "girl-next-door curvy brunettes" rather than "fake-blond silicone-enhanced tattooed skinny stick insects".

It's all subjective and nobody can claim to have an unarguable right to what they believe to be "fanciable".

And I don't think any of us do TBF. It's all tongue in cheek.

However it's interesting to come back to this topic from time to time to see what is (sometimes inexplicably) an individuals preference. For example @kingfox

Each to their own.

I mean, I still fancy Sarah Greene:

I can categorically say that I don’t have a Snooker referee fetish.

PS, have you booked your specsavers appointment yet?

Quite right but posting those secretly taken pics of your neighbour sunbathing in the garden might seem a bit stalky :)

Legs and Co on Top Of The Pops 1978.

Not a tattoo or piercing in sight.   No silicone, no botox, no collagen, no facelifts, no hair extensions, no false eye lashes.     Just 6 pretty girls dancing sexily (but not crudely).

It wasn't all rubbish back then!

Probably the only reason I watched TOTP.

And their predecessors Pan's People:

I've often wondered what these beauties look like now.....

They didn't look great back whenever that was filmed.

Remember episode of Porridge. Fletcher taking about Pans People. "There's one beautiful babs-I don't know what her name is" Babs of course married to actor Robert Powell.

Babs was the one I think every bloke had a preference for back then.

Legs and Co for me it was the one that looked, at risk of coming over slightly misogynistic, like a bit of a goer.

Far right:

Why would you pick the one with the squarest jaw? Looks more like a bloke in drag.

I don't recall looking at her face when her hips thrusts and leg movements were my main focus. .
