Thank you for that 👍

I think I’m going to dip my toes in small and see how it goes for a while.

Im just wary after getting burnt by a company called Bahamas Petroleum a few years ago. They found a huge oil well under sea but after drilling and testing it turned out to be duff beer basically and I lost over 90%.

This seems to have gone past the point of being duff beer already if my little research is correct.

Likewise I lost 90% in companies drilling for oil in the Falkland Islands, billions of barrels of oil, but too expensive to get it

Is it not an established truth that stocks in certain companies with certain amoral backers get a fillip when weaponry starts being used, then?

Of course it isn't good for everyone in the market, but it certainly looks like when it happens it's good for some.

Yeh course, markets are a zero sum game. There’s winners and losers from every global event.

But the S&P 500 is not up today because of more war, that’s fake news

Posted

On Friday after the latest Israel/Iran conflict started the S&P 500 was down just over 1%, on Monday it was up just under 1%, so not much lost or gained yet.

But I  would think that more uncertainty will mean more volatility with the markets/indices?

Pleased I took a placing in EEE the other day now, up over 10% already and it appears to still be on the rise.

What you are seeing here boys is a re-rate.

News would be interesting. Expecting a TR-1 soon based on this volume

A TR-1 is basically when they have to disclose a major change in shareholding. This can be good or bad but in this case we can safely say it’d be good as the share price is rising well.

It can mean a big institution has got involved.

How much are you guys in for on EEE? Sub £1k or more?

I might transfer a small amount over to it.

I went with £1500 to get involved whilst doing a bit more research but wish I did more to be honest after looking into it more.

It feels a too good to be true stock (which has bitten me on the arse before).

I’ll buy the dips going forward to increase my holding.

Considerably more. Due to the performance it is now massively my biggest holding, but I am happy with the risk at this stage.

This is my retirement ticket.

Cheers. I have a few £k in Nvidia as that is always a steady performer. Might split half that into EEE.

Just don't get spooked by any pullbacks along the way. Some serious gains to be made over the next year or so and even more next 3 years imo

Thanks for the tip, this now makes up 30% of my portfolio, I’ve been gradually ditching my flatliners like AstraZeneca

and buying up more EEE, it’s really on a charge and is by far the most exciting stock I hold.

Having followed this thread for a while I fancied being a part of this and have just bought my first ever shares - £500 in EEE.

Wtf, this thread is now happy clappers pumping up a penny stock

Each to their own. No ramping here, all factual and all proven right so far. Cheers

Not sure of your point here, if you do your own research and like the stock Lako suggests then invest if you want to. If you don't, you don't. Some people in this thread have, some haven't. Simple.

If you're taking investment advice from random people on FoxesTalk (or any internet forum for that matter) and not willing to do your own research to support it, you probably shouldn't have an investment account.
