Fofana in, I'd say Justin is unlucky to miss out

Very unlucky. I'd have gone Justin or Walker-Peters over James.

James hasn't been as good as suggested for me.

Always find these a tad ridiculous given the stupid teams they put out

Also I like to pick a team that actually make sense. So Son and Grealish can't play where they are in that team. Kane isn't out wide, so its him or DCL, not both.

Lil Wes and Justin featuring in a few of these teams. Vardy picked in another.

KDB? Really? I noticed my friend has transferred him out of his FPL team - (and for good reason it seems - he hasn't quite been on it for a while?).

And to be in every team too. I'm mean he's not been terrible, so he might sneak into one team, but all 4, surely not.

Garth Crooks has Iheanacho in his team. Says one sentence on him and goes on for 2 paragraphs about Sheffield Utd

The man is a total waste of bandwidth and airtime.

Just when we thought it couldn't get any better for Kel.

Funny seeing Shearer just throwing 3 attacking midfielders/inside forwards into their teams as midfielders without any balance. Son and Grealish usually play on the left of a front 3 and Bruno Fernandes plays just behind the striker almost as a shadow striker. One of Ndidi, Calvin Phillips, Fabihno or Rodri should be getting in for their performance as holding midfielders and then a playmaker like Youri.  Will be looking out for Rashford and Greenwood to make next weeks team as wing backs!

hang on i was looking at a team from 3 months ago but the point still stands.

Manchester City maintained the push for the Premier League title and are well represented in the Premier League team of the week after their 3-0 win at Fulham. However, it is Leicester who dominate the best XI on the back of their thumping 5-0 win of basement boys Sheffield United on Sunday, with four Foxes players featuring.

Illan Meslier (Leeds) - 8.58

Leeds held Chelsea to a 0-0 draw in Saturday's early kick off and the Whites have Illan Meslier to thank for the result. The youngster put in a man of the match performance between the sticks at Elland Road, his third such award of the season, as he made eight saves in a clean sheet attaining display to yield a WhoScored rating of 8.58.

Joao Cancelo (Manchester City) - 8.81

Off the ball, the Portugal international excelled as he made seven tackles and one interception to return a WhoScored rating of 8.81.

Wesley Fofana (Leicester) - 7.91

Leicester are the dominant side in the Premier League team of the week with Wesley Fofana the first of four Foxes representatives on the back of their resounding 5-0 win over Sheffield United. The young French centre-back impressed off the ball as he made four clearances, three tackles and two interceptions to limit the Blades to one shot in the heavy defeat, that an Oliver Burke effort that more or less found the corner flag, and make the team of the week with a WhoScored rating of 7.91.

Ozan Kabak (Liverpool) - 7.87

After a rocky start to life in a Liverpool shirt, Ozan Kabak put in his best rated performance for the Reds as he earned a WhoScored rating of 7.87 against Wolves on Monday night. The Turkish defender was dominant in the air, winning four aerial duels, and his proactive defensive approach saw the January arrival make six clearances in a 1-0 win at Molineux to partner Fofana at the heart of the defence.

Kieran Tierney (Arsenal) - 7.54

Arsenal ended their lenghty wait for a Premier League North London Derby win over rivals Tottenham on Sunday with Kieran Tierney putting in a solid shift from left-back. The Scot provided the assist for Martin Odegaard's first Premier League goal of his career to draw the Gunners level on the stroke of half time, that coming from one of two key passes. Six tackles and one interception contributed towards Tierney's inclusion in the XI with a WhoScored rating of 7.54.

Ferran Torres (Manchester City) - 7.36

Featuring on the right flank in the best XI is Manchester City youngster Ferran Torres. With two clearances and one tackle to his name, the 21-year-old makes the team of the week with a WhoScored rating of 7.36.

Liverpool signing shines as 5-star Leicester dominate team of the week

Ayoze Perez (Leicester) - 8.87

Ayoze Perez bagged his second league goal of the season in Leicester's 5-0 win at Sheffied United over the weekend as he put in a solid showing behind the strikers at the King Power Stadium. Perez's one goal came from four shots, and he worked hard out of possession, too, making four tackles in the resounding victory to garner a WhoScored rating of 8.87.

N'Golo Kante (Chelsea) - 8.30

Joining Perez in the middle of the park is former Leicester man N'Golo Kante. The Chelsea star broke through the Leeds midfield with ease where required as he completed five dribbles at Elland Road and was unfortunate not to register an assist as he managed three key passes. Three tackles and three interceptions saw Kante return a WhoScored rating of 8.30, that enough to make the best XI.

Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City) - 8.49

Rounding off the Manchester City trio is frontman Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian bagged his seventh league goal of the season at Fulham as he put in a fine performance from the left in a front three in the capital. Jesus routinely eased past the Fulham backline as he managed six successful dribbles to help come away from the victory with a WhoScored rating of 8.49.

Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester) 10.0

The penultimate Leicester star in the team of the week is also the Premier League player of the week. 20% of Kelechi Iheanacho's league goals for Leicester came in the 5-0 thrashing of Sheffield United as the Nigerian bagged a hat-trick from six shots against the Blades. No player completed more dribbles than Iheanacho (6) in the Premier League this week, while an additional three key passes saw the Foxes forward land a perfect WhoScored 10 rating.

Jamie Vardy (Leicester) - 9.35

Garth Crooks - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56849170

Jonny Evans: Well, they've not been there since 1969 and strange things happen in FA Cup finals. Leicester City's return to Wembley in a few weeks to play in the final of the greatest knockout cup competition in the world will be a fitting tribute to the efforts the club have made since the arrival of the Srivaddhanaprabha family. To a generation of Leicester fans, Jonny Evans' performance in the semi-final might well have brought back memories of greats like Graham Cross, Peter Rodrigues or David Nish, all of whom played for Leicester in 1969. Evans has had a fantastic spell at Leicester since his arrival from West Brom. His goal in a 3-0 victory over his former club on Thursday has put a serious dent in the Baggies' Premier League survival hopes.

Did you know? In the game against West Brom, Jonny Evans scored his first Premier League goal since December 2019 against Aston Villa.

Youri Tielemans: He played his 100th game for Leicester in the FA Cup semi-final victory over Southampton on Sunday and was instrumental in Leicester's demolition of West Brom four days later. Youri Tielemans is proving to be a crucial player for Brendan Rodgers. The Belgium international is as important to Leicester as N'golo Kante was during their title-winning season. Tielemens may not be as pleasing on the eye as James Maddison, for example, but he can see the pass and often provides the continuity between defence and attack for the Foxes. Leicester now sit four points clear of Chelsea and West Ham and look good for a Champions League spot, and have an FA Cup final to look forward to. Quite what's happened to West Brom I just don't know.

Did you know? Tielemans made exactly 100 passes - 89 successful - in the win over West Brom. The Baggies, on the other hand, only played 250 in total.
