DAB Car Radio Help!

I have just purchased a 2017 A180D A Class Mercedes and unfortunately it doesn't have DAB radio. For a sado like me who loves driving listening to Talksport / BBC Five Live etc. does anyone know if DAB can be added? Where to get it added? (Mercedes directly?) or can anybody on here help?

Mad I thought all recent cars came with DAB radios now - especially in a Merc. I’ve no advice sorry, just surprised! 
 

You should be able to get 5 live on standard radio though? I think it’s 909/606 kHz

Mate, I'd get yourself on the Mercedes A Class Facebook group and ask the boffins on there.

 

I recently bought a Jag XF and joined the Facebook group which is full of saddos but they know everything about everything to do with XF's.

 

Facebook is generally shit IMO but it's great for niche groups and questions like this.

Google Pure DAB car adaptor.

 

Not sure what they do about the aerial - you normally have to fix one inside the windscreen on aftermarket units

You can plug in a DAB adapter.  I've got the one above & it cost me £40/£50 (I don't remember exactly).  Does a perfectly good job.  There's much cheaper ones available but I wouldn't know how good they are

If it has Bluetooth aux, just stream the radio channels using the tune in app from your phone.

I had one of these on my old car - fitted it myself in about 20 minutes.  Worked great.  Mine was a ‘Pure’ brand, not Alpine.

Can vouch for the pure adaptors, easy to install and worth the money.

Yeah adaptors are alright if you don't mind them being a bit ugly and having to route some wires about.
